Wanting to install aftermarket head unit, where to mount usb?

I just bought a 2013 Rogue. I'd like to replace the radio with an aftermarket unit. I pulled apart the center console and discovered a couple of things. First of all, the USB connector for the center arm rest is an 8 pin design and I can't find an adapter for it. All of the ones I see are 4 pin and have USB in the center arm rest, mine is a multi pin to iPod connector style. Are there any adapters for this style? Also, I don't see any easy way to get the USB from the back of the aftermarket radio to the cabin of the car. The glove box seems to be completely blocked off from the center console and I don't see any other place to do it without tearing up my interior. Has anyone installed a new radio that can show me how they did theirs? I've seen adapters for the cigarette adapter to put a USB plug in there which I like, but I would need 2, and also I like having a quick charger for my phone which the radio obviously wouldn't support.

Anyone's experiences would be appreciated.
