Exactly! When I first started seeing people say they wished it had automatic headlights, I thought "what a stupid thing to complain about. When it gets dark out, turn on your headlights!" Of course, I came from a vehicle without automatic headlights, and my rule of thumb was when you started to have problems seeing the dash, it was time for the headlights to come on.wrtmac wrote:I have an S model. It is interesting that there are no automatic headlights but when it gets dark out the instrument panel illuminates. Must be a sensor somewhere - maybe it could be used to operate the headlights.
didn't mention what i didnt like( that I didn't change to my liking( called customize) - I added a Gentex mirror and wireless backup camera.mstrmstr wrote:I bought mine with the big options(all three)
I changed the lighting and you can add to yours with items off ebay..a lot nicer and cheaper..using LED's and tapping any power your good to go.Same with a lot of OPTIONS.. they are as they are- extra money.
Replace it with 09 model. They have it now. I'm not sure but I think you can add this option if you want to.NellieR wrote:
No auto door locking when the car is in motion.
I know just what you're referring to. I have noticed in nearly all late-model cars I've driven recently. Just a guess (I'm no scientist) - there is so much aerodynamic engineering with newer vehicles that the open window totally disrupts the airflow. Used to be the car was breaking through the air around it blowing it every which way. Open windows just introduced wind and road noise...zesty2b wrote:Wind noise. Not the kind that others have described that may be tires, roof rack, or leak around hatch door. I don't have wind noise at all with windows closed. Rather, when the rear passenger windows are open, it's like there is a change in air pressure that is not only loud but actually affects the pressure on the ear drum. It seems like the whole car is vibrating and it is not just loud, it actually hurts the ears!
Yeah but they still don't auto-unlock. I'll give my list now - and it's really things I miss from the '04 Vue I traded in for an '09 Rogue:Leo2005 wrote:Replace it with 09 model. They have it now. I'm not sure but I think you can add this option if you want to.
Daytime running lights have been mandatory in Canada since 1990.EKrimmer wrote:Daytime running lights. I saw a poster above from Canada mention they had them - I believe they are required there. Why skimp on such a simple feature and not just leave it on every model?
I had these in my Altima and I miss them as well. I honestly think they should be standard especially in Canada. Some DRL's can be bright enough to 'think' you have the headlights on. I've seen countless people driving around with just the DRL's and not realizing it.EKrimmer wrote:2)Auto-headlights.
You can add the auto-dimming mirror. Read more here:zerothread/307929EKrimmer wrote:3)Auto-dimming inside rearview mirror
My Pathfinder had a separate opening rear window. I used it only occasionally and I don't miss it.kerrton wrote:Good point, I forgot about that one, it would be VERY nice to have a rear window hatch that opens like on the Ford Escape
Does the seat back 'fold' flat then, or will it actually 'overextend' beyond the flat arrangement? (does this make any sense).philipa_240sx wrote:The rear seat cushion can be removed by pulling up the front edge (it's very stiff, but it will pop out). With the cushion removed
Thats a Biggie for me. I'm in high school.RoGoLa wrote:I have enjoyed my Rogue so far except for these:

I guess we should stop talkin about it so people won't know and won't break into it....hehehe....TaiLuu wrote:Thats a Biggie for me. I'm in high school.RoGoLa wrote:I have enjoyed my Rogue so far except for these:

I always though that one day someone from our rival school would poor water in my gas tank.
I'm old school, I just look at the handle.philipp2 wrote:The headlight indicator is on anytime the driving OR parking lights are on. Nothing indicates which. It needs something different to indicate that the headlights are on, not just the parking lights.
