Is the display green or orange for the mirror that comes with the SL AWD leather package Rogue?philipa_240sx wrote:Well Nissan has released said auto-dim/homelink/compass mirror as an accessory for the '07-08 Altima. I would sit tight and see if they release a similar part for the Rogue within the next few mos. Or you could risk it and buy the Altima mirror (Nissan part no 999L1-UT000) and see if you could install it yourself.

But if you follow the instructions and install it correctly, you should be fine.WHAT IS NOT COVERED: Improper installation of any Nissan approved or aftermarketaccessory or component.
jsellberg, can you look on the back of your mirror and see if the plug connects directly under the mount? or does it connect a little off to the side?jsellberg wrote:buttons and lights look the same as mine? (sl awd premium)
it connects right under the mount.boooey wrote:

I bought it off Ebay form this seller for http://stores.ebay.com/WembleySellsBriguy1027 wrote:Looks great Boooey, Okay so where did you order if from, and how much did it cost? I sure would love to have the ability to open my garage door from the mirror and have all the auto-dimming features as well!
you just need to buy a little bit of X10 hardware (which relays the Homelink Buttons to your lights), and its very inexpensive. Here is a guide i found on-line which helped me to get started.jsellberg wrote:^ how did you manage that?
you can have the dealer look up the Altima Homelink/Compass mirrors, as it should be the same one.AndyP wrote:Can either of you two give me a part number (an actual Nissan part number)? I was told by my dealer they could get it if I gave them a part number but it would be kind of like getting a replacement part instead of an addon. They also said they would be willing to "attempt" an install for me which, after having them "experiment" while installing my trailer hitch, I'm both a little leary and somewhat game for it. Thanks.
