Really nice idea Krash!

I think a 'vert forum product review thread is a great idea.

I'll help you continue to build this. Hopefully others will pitch in as they are able. 94_240sx has done a ton of stuff to his vert that he's shared, so we can start by searching for his stuff.

Keep up the good work!

Isn't that what the convertible faq & articles section for? Other than the stuff mentioned in there... it's really the same as all the non-vert-specific stuff...

I see what your say broke.. but I think there can be value to doing this with a little different twist.

A lot of the info in the FAQ's thread is how to fix, where to find, and general info.

I think the twist on this that is cool is the idea of reviews on multiple similar products. If we had 3 different reviews on rear window cleaner products.. .that would really help people figure out which is best for them.

Another example... 'verts have a little different feel and structure.. so different brake pads, coilovers, springs, struts, etc.. might be better or worse suited to the 'vert than others. I think it would be cool to have a few different reviews for each product done by 'vert owners to help other 'vert owners decide which to buy.

I agree that it's not earth-shattering stuff, and it is similar to some of what we already have. But, any energy and work put into sharing knowledge and info with this forum is always greatly appreciated. Anytime someone takes the time to help out... I can't thank them enough.

ditto and kudos to you krash14 for starting this. having different reviews on products is a great idea. i hate buying items for the car( car cleaning products) that are expensive and then after using them feeling like i didn't get my moneys worth.

Any chance of building out areas of the 240sxconvertible.com website rather than starting/digging through many forum threads? More work for Seth, maybe not as much ad revenue for Greg, but it would definitely be a bit more user-friendly.

What do you mean by "Build Out" ish? I'm all ears for ideas. My problem is that I don't have any html skills. All I can do is help find the content and then wait for one of the admin guys to find time to implement the changes.

I mean make static web pages that contain core info for key topics. I'm not sure if Greg would be to keen on that; I'd imagine the goal is to get people to the forum.

I wasn't sure who controlled the 240sxconvertible.com page - you or others.

still working on that.. slowly...

I've got a ton of photos collected, and I'm uploading them to iserve when I find the time. It's not easy though.. I do most of my nico surfing when I'm at work, and I can't upload those photos from work.

Then once their uploaded I have to get someone to redo the portal page.

we're getting there..
