Anybody use Megan springs on their convertible?? I just got agx's and megans... supposed to give 1-1.5 drop on the coupe... probably a little more on the vert since they are heavier...

duh... let me think... megan coilovers for 850 or agx and springs for 200... hmmmmm , somehow I don't think that I'll be going $650 faster... that'll buy 200 gallons of gas, so I can go 6000 free miles...

i'm not too sure on brands or knockin anybodies decision, but these megan coilovers are sick, i can take corners like nothing going 60plus, its so stiff, and its slammed to the floor practically, my friend matts like get these teins or w/e lowering springs spend 100 dollars, i'd rather shell out 600 plus to do that plus have more control over my car, unlike my friend i'm not goin for looks.

This question really depends on what you want to do with your vert. Is it just for style/lowering? Trying to be competive...etc.

Give us a heads up and I'll help you in the right direction.

For what it's worth - I'm a big fan of coilover setups just b/c I track the car alot. If this is not your ultimate goal - then the megans should hold up just fine. Alot of owners on this forum run the AGX's and swear by them.

Look at me - I own a set of $1400-1500 Tien Flex's and I b|tch about them evertime I can. If the Megan's work out for you - then hey, more power to you bro.

so I finally got my kyb AGX shocks and Megan springs installed, along with some new Seechi tension rods...when I drove it home, I thought I had really screwed up... the thing drove like a go kart with no suspension.. jiggled and bounced down the freeway... checked the settings on the agx's and they were all set to maximum stiff... dropped the fronts down to 1 from 4 and rears to 5 from 8 and it's much better... still firm but much more controlled... now I need the alignment done before I try any handling adjustments... sits much lower, about two inches, but still has a reasonable wheel well gap.. not slammed, and will still go up my drive way without scrapping the nose.... doesn't like speed bumbs tho...
