Just curious what the experts on this site think. I read online that Nissan recommends - Due to the introduction of contamination resistant "pintle-less" fuel injectors, Nissan no longer recommends using fuel injector cleaners in vehicles with injectors of this design. Use of fuel injector cleaner on these vehicles, while providing little cleaning benefit, may cause corrosion of the fuel injector coil and eventual failure of the injector. Do not use fuel injector cleaner on the models listed in the chart or subsequent models with "pintle-less" injectors.Do any of you add fuel additives, or more specifically, a fuel injector cleaner?

I've put Seafoam in the gas tank before. Well, in that case, Seafoam works as injector cleaner? I'd like to know about this also since I don't want to do any harm to my car. I've never seen any bad review on Seafoam though and that's why I've used it.

where is the chart? I'm sure you have pintles in your injectors. Most do.

highly recomend using this product for this. It does alot more than injectors though

I've never heard of this product until now. I did some research on BG 44K internal combustion chamber/injector cleaner and learned that it's a great product that works better than Seafoam when it comes to engine and injector cleaning. Couldn't find a single bad review on it. People are saying it's good cuz it contains 'Naptha' which is a main ingredient. Very interesting. I'll do more search... BTW, I've replaced 3 injectors so far. They went bad in between 120k and 140k.
