May be something wrong with the reader. If you look at the Service manual here (http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Altima/2007/ec.pdf) on pg 417 you can see that P2A03 means:

Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 (bank 2) circuit range/performance

• The output voltage computed by ECM from theA/F sensor 1 signal is shifted to the lean side fora specified period.• The A/F signal computed by ECM from the A/Fsensor 1 signal is shifted to the rich side for aspecified period.

You may want to reset your ECU and see if that fixes things (just guessing here). Just shut the car off, hold the brake pedal for a couple seconds, and disconnect the negative terminal for 30 minutes.

Maybe the y pipe changed your A/F ratio drastically and the ECU didn't like it. (But I have no idea really.)

Well, I installed the Y-pipe today. It only took me about a half hour. It was real easy. I took some pics. So, if no one has done it, I guess I could do a right up. It's really easy, though.

Here are the 2 vids I have. The first is just the Artisan catback and the second is the Artisan catback and Y-pipe. Sorry, I didn't have time to do a drive by. It made it raspier from about 3,500 rpm and up. There is definitely less drone at Hwy speeds. I really love it. I think it made the Artisan system beter. It is definitely quicker. It was about 117 degrees out when I did the test drive and I could still tell that it was faster.

+1. Makes the exhaust sound a lot better. I just put mine on yesterday and I love it. Made my Borla sound so mean (well, meaner)! Hopefully I get a decent video clip here soon.

i dunno if its because your further away from the car with the ypipe vid but it sounds like the artisan lost a lot of its "deepness" its maaad raspy tho huh!

hmmm- maybe a drive-by vid is needed.

so the (((drone))) decreased a lot or just a little at hwy speeds?

Overall, are you content with the ypipe and the Artisan? Judging by the video it seemed significantly louder with the ypipe. Does it drone or bother you?

Well? What time did you run?

You should be in the 13's especially considering the added traction.

I definitely like it more with the Y-pipe. It changed the tone and pitch of the exhaust. From idle to about 3,500 rpm it's deeper and more crisp. From 3,500 to redline, it screams. It has always had a drone at highway speeds (3,200 rpm). It still drones at highway speed, but since the pitch has changed, it's not as bad. Not as much bass in it at that rpm. I also love the sound it makes when you let off the gas at high rpm or when you down shift.

Cool. Some of the videos make the Artisan seem really loud even w/o the ypipe. Do you find it turning heads or attracting the wrong attention (cops)? BTW I hate to ask but can you make a takeoff clip? If not, no worries. Thanks

I was planning on going to Fontana as well, but after being up there last weekend at 100+ it won't be worth the drive for me. So hopefully August will be a lil cooler temps

mcheddadi i must say, that's a nice trap speed. that trap speed is very close to the vq35hr's and vq37hr's. what was the 60ft time, 1/8 mile time and speed?

I haven't had any problems with attention. I definitely love the way it sounds now. It's not really much louder up to 3,500 rpm. It's cleaner and more crisp in that range. From 3,500 to redline, it is a little loud if you're at WOT, but it sounds awesome. A guy I work with has a G35 with an Injen exhaust system. He said that it sounds great and that he likes it better than his. I'm not off until the weekend. I'll try to make a drive by video, then.

my exhaust setup sounds very similar and in come cases louder than those of you with the y-pipe/cat-back combo.

all i have is a 3in cat-back with greddy sp2 knock off mufflers, and the 3rd cat removed.

take a listen http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mV6fft3_hFY

and mcheddadi, your time does not reflect you trap speed. ive been running 14.2's and trapping at 100mph for the longest. with that almost 102mph trap speed, you should be somewhere around 13.9 or so. get back out there and keep trying.

wow... with times like that, you're whip is almost as fast as Hussain's CVT, even when his car was at stock form...

does no good to have a manual if you don't know how to drive it... who's your daddy now MENDI... I'll tell you who...

THE FAILMATIC CVT IS YOUR DADDY BIATCH...lol

the time is believable because it could be due to wheel spin, that's why i requested to see the 60 ft, 1/8 mile speed and time to compare to his 1/4 mile time and trap speed...the winter tires can spin even with the LSD thru first gear and probably for some of second because of the compound of the tire. if it can hook up properly we could see a 13.8 given that the trap speed is accurate.

I agree, and I have no doubt that the manual can get into the high 13's, especially with a LSD...

Mendi, did you warm your tires up prior to launching? even the winter tires, when warmed up, should have decent grip at the launch... I think you can get a better time bruh.. but until then...

YOUR MANUAL IS A BIATCH and HUSSAIN OWNS YOU!!!
