In a 4-cylinder engine like the 2.5S has there is whats called a down-pipe. There is only 1 bank of cylinders vs 2 banks of cylinders in the V-6.

Remember there are two headers in a V6 configuration since each side of 3 cylinders has its own exhaust header. After those two headers exhaust travels down two downpipes and join back again together at the Y-pipe before going into the catback.

what i can say for sure, is if your on the fence for either of these, do them immediately. my old man whipped her around after i brought it through for the july4th weekend, he scared himself with it (and hes driven it before)

You were wondering how the Y-pipe would sound with an Artisan catback. I should be receiving my Y-pipe on Thursday. I will probably install it on Friday. I'll let you know how the sound changed.

Those rims are sweeet. What make are they? That is exactly what I'm looking for.

I got my Y-pipe today. I was going to install it before I go to work, but no freaking bolts. I'm gonna have to wait until tomorrow, to pick up the hardware that I need. Can anyone tell me what size bolts they used? I'm sort of disappointed with Racingline about this. You would think that they could throw in the necessary hardware when you buy a $287 part from them. Thanks.

Never mind about the hardware. I emailed Racingline and they told me 10mm x 40mm.

Nice, do you still have a stock cat back? I remember you having the Artisan, now that would be a beast with the y-pipe.

my lights didn't go on. you have to watch out when you install this as the y-pipe connects just next after the readers if you damage those you ill get a light. get it installed properly

One more thing - you can pull the malfunction code without a reader...

http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=359098

That should give an idea whether it was an install or design problem...

They are nothing fancy, they are 18X8.5" ADR Cyphers. they are very light. i was able to pick up two wheels in one hand and barely used any energy. I had ADR Fuels on my old car, and I loved those rims.

Found a set of tires today too for $220 installed, so should have them on the car tomorrow.
