one of my all time favorite coupes, about a inch and half lower and a silvia conversion and this car would be perfect. props man

at first it was maxed out and fronts were rubbing fender liners and my brand new tanabe pipe was scraping at the rear so i had to raise them. i'd love to go lower but my daily route have too much angled driveways and bumps. now at this height, front still rubs slightly but its daily drivable.

xenon lip will be installed soon once it gets here and side skirts will be on by thursday so it'll look slightly lower without actually lowering it

thanx, its night and day with the coils. funny how even the eibach springs can't help much lowering 240's...
eibachs came with the car when i first bought my 240 last year and i never thought it was lowered on springs until i peeked underneath

i think k-sport coils are the softest coils i ever owned so far. and when damper is set to around 7, its even softer than previous eibach/tokico combo.
also when i set the damper to hardest, ride doesn't get stiffer but just bouncier like cars on cut springs.

overall i like this k-sport coils for my daily driving. ride is very comfy for coilovers and its more stable on corners compared to spring setup. totally not bad for $700 brand new and have no regrets not getting megan street coils so far (they were backordered for 3 weeks)

thanx. can't wait for lip to arrive. sux that xenon don't sell them direct and they are made to order..

also got alignment done yesterday. -1 front and -2.5 rear.
after the alignment, driving characteristic changed dramatically. it drives, handles, and rides far better than before.

front tires poke out of fenders with only -1 camber but somehow fender liner rubbing is reduced and only rubs outer fender while going over big dips on the road.

now i'm thinking to change the front tires to 215/45/17 (currently 235/40/17) so i don't have to alter anything to and make front end look better

And front wheel/tire setup was always an eyesore with tires poking out of fenders and front looking much higher than the rear.
So I tried out this new cure for the eyesore..

New setup [Rota P45R 17x9 +12]

Was going to get Kumho AST being so cheap for $69 each but Discount Tires got me a deal on these Falkens for $85 each.
On some angles, stretched tires don't look good looking like donuts but now I'll be able to go lower on the front without rubbing while
keeping fenders and fender liners intact.

My eBay header (ka24de) just arrived today along with Megan Racing's heat shield for brake cylinder.
These will be my last batch of mods for my 240 this year (still waiting for xenon lip) and thinking to get some few mods for my fx35.

Hope that I get to install header and shield around this week. Can't wait

Beware the ill-fitting hole for the egr sensor on the ebay header. If I knew mine was gonna be such a beyotch to plug it up, I never would have got headers... too much trouble for too little gain.

Jesus christ dude your paint is amazing. And thanks for getting those tails, I've been tossing around wether I should get them or not because I haven't seen too many photos of cherry s13s with them. This build is AWESOME!

i've searched nico for days and found out fitment is hit or miss. also i would've bought dc headers if i were to keep this engine and transmission for longer period of time, but thought it was waste of money for my temporary mod bug fix.. just hoping that install isn't too bad

i think red/clear tails look good on any color s13s. i'm curious how smoked version will look on cherry colors.

Very nice man. There aren't that many coupes I like but yours is simple yet nice and clean. Keep up the good work :)

Now you need rear valances and perhaps a lip in the front. Xenon maybe...

Exact same logic behind me buying the headers. Do yourself a favor: Call Courtesy Nissan in advance and have them ship you that little plug for the EGR hole. I can't remember what the part number is, but they'll know what you're talking about. That thing is super hard to find. Most dealerships don't even know what the hell you're talking about, since the part is not typically used for this purpose. But Courtesy Nissan is one of the main 'rare' Nissan parts suppliers in the country, so they get a lot of 240 business and questions.

Just a little FYI: I decided the I was too impatient to wait for the little part to plug my EGR hole (since the egr sensor didn't reach it anyways) and I had the hole capped and welded shut. BIG MISTAKE. Well the cap/screw that they welded in had a head that was too tall. No matter how much I grind it down, it never seems to be enough. Now my steering linkage hits my welded egr plug everytime on my way to full steering lock. A very scary feeling, especially at highway speeds. I'm kinda used to it now... I just have to force the wheel past while cornering. Far from ideal, as you might guess.

Can't wait to get rid of my header.

i think i'll skip the rear valences and get subtle bumper later on
but xenon lip is on the way. its been a month since i ordered one and still waiting for it..

well i was no lucky one either.. egr didn't align and aiv line didn't clear steering linkage either.
also egr was ceased with age so it has been cutted with torch cutter to seperate from stock header.

anyways... since either one of them fitted correctly and license renewal being two years away, egr has been blocked and aiv was removed.
and two holes on the header for egr and aiv have been welded up too.. so far it idles same as before and only change i feel is change in sound of exhaust (little more rumble)
along with usual aftermarket header sound up front when gas is given.

another thing... megan racing's brake heat shield wasn't compatible with the strut bar so uppper portion of the shield where it meets the strut tower bar needed to be trimmed down.
