I always buy my parts from same local shop. I think I bought this in 2005 for relatively cheap price. Reason was store was clearing out all the Catz fogs because they got banned in US due to being way too bright (this thing is super bright for sure and its 70w bulb).

I believe you can still get some on ebay but they are too pricey and replacement bulbs are hard to come by.

here's a ebay link if you like

Ah, thank you. I didn't realize that they were banned. I'd probably get easily pulled over for them here in California.

Damn those HID look nice too. You never said what kind of conversion you did... Where did you get that from? What brand? and you got any pics of how the light projection is from them? I'm doin a 6000k conversion as soon as it gets here. Did you just do what I did and get the Egay plug and play h4 HID conversion thing? Mine that I have coming are bi-xenon.

I listed in the mods list above.

Its Hella H4 conversion housing with generic slim H4 hid kit (8000k). Originally I had 6000k bulbs but one of them was defective and only other H4 bulbs remaining at the store were 8000k..

HID Conversion & LED parking light
- 5k bulb I ordered was defective and only choice I had left was 8k bulb. Little too blue for me but oh wells..
- 5-LED Amber parking bulbs. I tried white led bulbs too but combination of 8k hid and white led was too blue.

Clayed & Waxed
Never clayed in my life until today. Amazing to see what clyaing can do to car's paint.
Paint is simiply shiny and very smoooooth like brand new. Also clayed front and rear windshield too and that roughness is gone.

Where did you get the dash Leds and also the leds for the chuki front bumper lights? Where they plug and play for both or did you have to do anything to them? I'm really interested in how you got the led for the front bumper ones.

And the parking light leds?

Search ebay for "194 led"

hanks, which ones did you by from ebay the ones with 6 leds or less?
I was thinking about these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 2131wt_691

or these

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 1784wt_781

wasnt sure if these are the ones you have and if the volts make a difference? I believe the oem ones are 5v correct, and will that make a difference if its 12v?

mine is 5 leds. but if you want the brightest one, order one from www.v-leds.com. they are bright for sure

it'll cost some money to paint them being polyurethane.

it came with the car when i bought it. didn't even know it was hella housing until i took the housing apart to see if hid kit will work.

Haven't done much to the 240 recently so I decided to some cheap maintenance work.

#1. Replaced fuel filter. Somehow I never thought about changing the filter. Obviously existing filter was clogged.
#2. Cleaned throttle body. Couldn't believe all the black gunk that came out during the cleaning process. Now my idle control valve is working properly.

With above two things, engine is idling much smoother and little more responsive now.

Plus I ordered NGK plug wires and Circuit Sport poly exhaust hangers.
Found some rat s*** couple days ago on top of shock towers so I checked if anything got chewed up. Well... they chewed on #2 plug wire and about a inch of rubber dissapeared.. Damn rats...

And for the last.. Decided to paint the xenon lip at home. Bought some SEM Flexible Primer from NAPA and ordered couple of Dupli Color spray cans (Cherry Red Pearl AH3). Hope that color match isn't too off.

Think I'll be keeping it. Ordered few more parts that'll come in around next week.

NGK Plug wires and Circuit Sport exhaust hangers from Frsport arrived in 3 busines days. Fast shipping!

Can't believe how much plug wires improved the performance. New fuel filter + plug wires + throttle body clean up brought my engine back to life. :woot:

And.. Xenon lip primed and awaiting for paint to arrive.

Paint for the xenon lip arrived today and got it painted. Obviously color is off since spray cans can not fade match the paint like bodyshops..

Also got several things done..

* Circuit sport exhaust hangers
* NGK Iridium Plugs
* New distributor cap & rotor
