Car is extremely clean, but that rear pull is unnecessarily large.

i hate tires rubbing fenders and it was already rubbing at this height before the pull. but i might opt for wider tires if there's room after the coils and some negative camber

K-Sport Coilovers

Its been raised 1" all the way from the lowest point.
Front fender liner is rubbing and Tanabe piping is scraping on speed bumps.
Goint to be raising the rears about 0.25~0.5" in order to clear the exhaust piping.

I'm actually torn between keeping it or selling it to pick up a 240sx and have lots of money left over. Would a 240 coupe attract more thieves than a rsx-s? I don't have a garage, so protecting my car would come down to only an alarm system.

it all comes down to which car you like the most without getting bored. and even if you get 240sx with extra cash, that cash will be dissapear really fast.

Looking sweet man! The tail lights and the wheel gap reduction made it look like a totally different car... I Know you said you're gonna chill after you do the Xenon lip and C-pillar bar, I think some Chuki side skirts will set the car off niceley and be a great stopping point. What do you think? Are you gonna colormatch your Xenon lip?

Well actually i liked 240's long before i liked rsx's. The rsx-s was an impulse buy because my cousing found it super cheap for me. I could keep it, but selling it would really help me out financially, plus end with me having an s13 coupe and money left over. That wouldn't be a bad idea right?

looks much better huh?

i've been looking for the side skirts but they are pretty pricey and needs to be color matched.. no more spare funds now after spending $4g past three months..
and for the xenon lip, i'm gonna spray paint it in black. i kinda like it better in black than colormatched, also paint won't last long once they start
scraping the angled driveways.

if your in need of extra money, than sell the rsx and get a 240. but be prepare to dump all that extra cash into 240 though

Where could I find oem side skirts for resonable price? I see year or two old thread saying side skirts are really easy to find even on ebay but they seemed to be rare these days...
I found one in decent condition in black for $324 shipped and was wondering if thats reasonable price. Or I found something similar to oem. Carbon Creations V-Speed side skirts
for around $250 (not sure about shipping).

:bang ....

stupid me... i totally forgot that seller accepting best offer leads to automatic win (ebay)...
this is what happened...

listed price $199 + 135 s&h
best offer $160 --> counter offer $189
countered again for $179 --> email confirm saying i won the item

so i ended up buying oem side skirts... accidentally... :gapteeth:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

today i got a real cheap budget sound system.
my gf bought me a cd player since current one was little beaten up from previous owner and i wanted something in black rather than scratched up silver. also front speakers were not working so i fixed that too with new pioneers. and during the install, i found out that radio brackets were missing... :tisk:

old setup from previous owner..
- Blaupunkt San Jose MP41
Image
- JBL GTO Series 4x6" front
- JBL GTO Series 6.5" rear
- Rockford Fosgate Amp & Rockford Fosgate 12" subs (pics on pg1)

new cheapo setup now..
- Pioneer DEH-1200MP-T
Image
- Pioneer TS-G1643R 6.5" front
- JBL GTO Series 6.5" rear
- Sub setup taken out last year. Not really needed + Too heavy ghetto homemade sub box = Dumpster/Donation

and for the missing radio brackets.. ordered new one from frsport.com.. including one impulse buy part for coming summer

--------------------------------------------------------------
small update

order from frsport arrived..

New radio bracket
Image

Cooling panel. I ordered DME cooling panles but NRG version arrived. DME = NRG ?
Image

Panels installed along with eBay intake kit. Intake kit was $35 shipped and Fujita filter was $30. Not bad for the price..

ebay strut bar does its job so far so i didn't get one.. and probably i won't be buying more from nico vendors...
the way they run the business is so slow it took me months to get the parts.

hm, thats odd...i support the vendors here and end up receiving parts within about a week/week and a half including fabrication, but to each his own. GL w/ your build.

i love forum vendors because they make quality parts tailored to our cars but two vendors i experienced here in nico wasn't that great.
it wasn't the quality of parts or the price. it was how they processed the sales and the length of time it took to order and receive the item.
for like rpsport.. i paid for the item back in august 2009 and i received the item around jan/feb of 2010.. so.. yea...

HID Conversion & LED parking light
- 5k bulb I ordered was defective and only choice I had left was 8k bulb. Little too blue for me but oh wells..
- 5-LED Amber parking bulbs. I tried white led bulbs too but combination of 8k hid and white led was too blue.

Clayed & Waxed
Never clayed in my life until today. Amazing to see what clyaing can do to car's paint.
Paint is simiply shiny and very smoooooth like brand new. Also clayed front and rear windshield too and that roughness is gone.
