I think it's bugati who has a new engine, a v12 with 4 turbo's. puts out 1001 hp. I'd like to put that in a school bus and race...

theres this kid in my class who drives a ford probe, thats problem #1. i drive a hyundai tiburon (yea i know its a chicks car, ha) anyways here are some of the 2 dumbest things i have heard.

he comes up to me and looks through my window:guy:your car fast?me: its kinda quickguy: (lookin at my speedometer gauge) oh yea it is, it will beat my car, your speedometer goes to 150, mine only goes to 130.me:hahah

and the other dumb thing he said was, man i cant wait to get my short shifter, i will knock off ATLEAST a second or 2 off my 1/4 mile

people need to stop watching their copy of fast and the furious, and stop being such complete idiots. whats wrong with ppl?

corn that bugatti your talking about is a v-16, not v-12. 0-180mph in 14.7 secs and top speed of over 250. now thats a mans car. looks kinda weird though, but for that kinda performance i wouldnt complain

as a side note, the bugatti has a W16 engine, but anyways, this kid in my class asks me waht ive done to my car, and i said not much really, no money, not worth spending it on little crap things

kid: are u gonna get a spoiler(wing)me: no, dont need one, i like the factory onekid: you're gonna need it if youre going turbo or somethingme: no, theyre not worth it, only good for racecarskid: but still....me: they're tacky and you really dont need a wing on your car

there's a post about wings somewhere that proves you dont need a wing, etc, agghhh, some people, but he is a freshman, so its kinda excusable, plus he likes bikes, not cars....

i just read all 15 pages of this thread and i must say my eyes hurt so bad, and i feel like i need to sleep. anyways what i was going to say was, i know this kid who has this old *** auto cavalier and we were hanging out at his house when this conversation took place

him: yo! my cavalier has turbo!me: your so full of ****him: nah man, look, that red line (pointing to the cars tach) is where the turbo kicks inme: um....im pretty sure thats not turbo (shaking head in disbelief)him: yea it is, when the needle gets there i take off!me: o..k..pop your hood(he pops his hood)me: so wheres the turbohim: um...this is probably it (points to the air filter box)(then i just proceeded to walk away)

LOL I had to correct my little cousin the other day. He kept saying he wanted a civic with NOS. I let the civic part slide but I was like please say nitrous or n2o at least. Then explained to him that NOS was a company and not the only people who had kits. Gotta teach 'em young. :batman

Yea, me and my friend,who has a 92 integra, was sittin in ISS at school and towards the end of the day we began to talk about cars. This is how it went.

Me: So did u add any mods to your car yet?Him: Yea son I did the exhaust, intake, headers, ECU, and I'm bout ta buy sum new rims. Oh and I put in a stereo system and PS2.Me: Not bad. How quick is it?Him:(here's where he lost most of my respect) Hell yea it's bout 300-325 horse power.

I tried my hardest not to laugh, so I turned my head in the other direction as a huge grin began to spread across my face. As I started to calm down he began to talk again.

Him: So what car are u gonna get?Me: I'm gettin a 95-98 240, but most likely a 97 or 98.Him: Any plans for it?Me: Yea I'll get a 2.5 in. Apexi N1 exhaust, Injen intake, and maybe some lowering springs and shocks till I could aford some descent coilovers. Then in bout a year or year in a half I'll do an sr20det engine swap from a S14 Silvia available only available in Japan ( Had ta spell it out for him cuz he don't know nuthin).Him: Wow! How much horse? Me: Bout 220. Oh and it comes with turbo.Him: (Now here's where he lost every bit of the little respect I had left for him) Nice, but if u had that car right now, I'd smoke your a$$. Not to mention in a year an a half, ill have like 400-450 horse. You'll neva be able ta beat me, even though it would be pretty quick.

At this point I couldn't help but laugh out loud. As a matter of fact, I laughed so loud that i got another ISS b/c I couldn't explain to the teacher exactly what I was laughing at.

I am currently on the prowl for a 97/98 240 just so I could see his faceafter I smoke his ***** a$$ with or w/o da sr20.

Forgive them Father. For these ricers and any other dummies, who don't have a single freakin clue about cars, know not what they do.-Amen-

All continents now have the WRX and WRX STI. The 22b (not b22) and P1 varients are from different aftermarket tuners (22b = STI and P1 = Prodrive). The 22b utilizes a 2.2liter tubocharged engine (first found in early USDM Legacy Sprt sedans) and the P1 Sports more suspension modifications than engine modifications that makes it more suitible as a tarmac rally machine.

Has anyone else here seen any cars with FAKE intercoolers. I'm not sure, but I was next to a civic yesterday on the road and it had an intercooler. So I though 'sweet it must be turbo'. But then as it pulled closer i noticed that the intercooler looked freaking plastic. Say it isn't so.
