Back in the day on that dead forum, many of the chassis sections had a sticky thread dedicated to a full list of parts available broken down by engine, suspension, interior, etc.

Anyone willing to build one, separated by v6/v6x/v8/v8x? We would have the OP edit the initial post as we posted available items in the thread below. Using the RWD in the list as example only, so don't yell at me. Can list part numbers and additional info like the STB showing as only fitting the Q50.
Per a user suggestion (courtesy of Altim8M37 above), the group has decided to create a 'running list' of parts available for the various trim levels of the Infiniti M Y51 chasis.

Below is a list of parts, sub-divided into respective lists based on what car they work with, etc.

Please contribute any information you have to the thread and one of the moderators will do their best to update the original post with the new information.

Note: If no drivetrain is listed, it is assumed that the part works for both RWD and AWD variants. If "RWD only" is listed, well, then the part only works w/ RWD vehicles. Similarly, if no engine is listed, then it is assumed that the part works for both the V6 and the V8. If a part works for the hybrid M, it will be designated.

** Double check before ordering, no one is responsible for you purchasing the wrong part. **

I think the list is complete lol.

In all seriousness, there's not much for the Y51. You could add Megan and SPC camber kits and BC Racing coilovers for RWD and AWD, Tanabe coilovers for RWD. But that's bout it.

I'd love to handle this but I'm clueless about what's available. I just stumbled into the strut bar working for my car and thought that it would be nice to have it all collected in one place.

I was referring to anyone who reads this thread. Post up the parts, etc. and I'll keep the OP updated (as you eventually will not be able to edit it).

Tanabe Sustec Pro S-0C coilovers (TSC158) fit the Y51 RWD chassis.

I think section 3A under 5.6 and 3B under 3.7 are not correct. The exhaust can be put on AWD versions.

Can it? Their site just says M37/M56, made it sound like it was not able to be installed on an AWD. This is awesome news because that's the exhaust I had 'earmarked' for my car until I got the impression that it wouldn't work.

I have it on my car. You can see it on my pic, even though it's small. Click the link to my subwoofer build. I'll upload a bigger picture there as well.

I think we should avoid listing body/exterior related parts since all Y51's are basically identical. All 2011-2014's are the same regardless of V6 or V8, RWD or AWD, etc. Just as all 2015's are the same etc.

I think it'll just clutter the list.

Thoughts?

Why not? I think any aftermarket product made for our cars should be included.

Don't see why not. Maybe just have a misc section that shows what's available. I'd add projects that aren't specific to the chassis too, i.e your front lip. When you have a small aftermarket pool for our lineup, every little bit helps, at least IMHO.

I plan on doing something similar to your lip Ilya, and someone a year from now might catch an interest as well. That is, unless, you want to keep it unique to your car. Wouldn't blame you. We all strive to stand out to some degree.

Not about uniqueness, that's why I posted the product name and howto/review. I just think anyone could google "Mx lip" and get a ton of results where as some of the performance products, either due to people installing stuff actually made for other cars (Q50) or because of poor website information (such as Stillen making it sound like the exhaust only works for RWD M's), might be more confusing and this thread would clear up that information.

Just don't want the thread to get out of hand with 20 options for wheel spacers (which fit all models), etc. etc.

If that makes sense.

I don't think there are enough differences between the M37 and M56 to warrant two lists, one list should be sufficient. If the part is specific to one or the other it can be noted along with the part. This would apply to 11-14 and 15+ body style differences as well.

I guess my point was that it's worth listing items that are one-offs for cosmetics. I guess we could do a simplified listing of parts and part numbers for the lesser items like wheel spacers, floor mats, etc. as we come across them. Actually I don't know what my point was. That happens often.

Was excited to find this, between my dog and my nasty elbows. Had it for a few weeks. Fits perfectly and is manufactured for the application, so it is NOT a one size fits all. Color is not perfect but it's close enough for me. Even got a nice note from the company in the package with it. I was impressed.

I think this list is exclusively part discussions and links. The DIY thread already exists for all the how-to threads.
