Got my rims and coilovers installed yesterday and man she looks good. Heard a little sound from the coilovers. Did a search and some said they have a little sound and some say they have no sound, just very sutile on mine. Will be taking it back to my mechanic to try to fix this. Will be getting an alignment in a day or so. It's been raining here in the Snellville, Ga area. I will post some pics asap. I'm very pleased fellas :mike.

Yeah I've heard BC's make some noises too but I never heard any on my M35x. Hoping I get lucky with the set I get for this car. I think it varies from kit to kit.

I do get some shock compression noise on speed bumps from the rear. Similar to other cars but different then what I remember about the OEM M56 struts. No rattles or pops.

Funny story: On my first test drive after installing the BC's I heard a rattle from the left rear. I was pissed. I went back home, tightened down the main nut, and went for another drive. Same rattle except this time it occurred to me that it may be the seat belt buckle since the seats were out of the car. It was. I felt silly.

@STM37S - What wheels did you get? Care to share or making us wait for pics?

Front tires are 255/30ZR/22, rear tires are 295/25ZR/22.

I was planning on painting it moonlight white and doing the visors as well. I was thinking about blacking out the chrome around the doors glossy/matt black along with a glossy black or matt black for the front grill and fog light housing. let me know what you think?

Thanks for the compliment DB

If you didn't suggest anything different then they are probably factory which is 10k/8k unless awd then your 14k/8k.

Looks very nice. Gives me an idea of what my car will look like lowered since our wheel designs are similar (my spokes aren't offset like yours though).

@ STM37S - Looks good! Better set those struts to the softest setting with those 22's. :chuckle:
Becareful with that front mud flap / aero part behind the front wheels. I catch them coming down off speedbumps.

Sounds like you are talking about ride height, or preload. He is asking about the Spring Rate. BC's for RWD come with 10K/8K spring rates unless you request otherwise.

That looks really good. I like how the rear window spoiler flows with the visors. Blacking out the trim on the windows and maybe a front wheel spacer would be my opinion. Classy...

Thanks for the advice Debonair, and you are right they are 10k/8k, I had the mechanic adjust the rear to come up a lot, before I did that, it was pretty much slammed as far as I'm concerned and that's a little to low for me, lol

I got it from spoilerking.com for 100.00. Its for the Q70 but will fit the m37 as well

It seems like their price has slightly increased a little. I got mine around 3-4 months ago. They have a # where you can call as well, hope this helps llyakol,

Thanks Altered, I have been thinking about blacking out the chrome for a couple of months now but as you know, I have to do a little at a time, lol.

Painting the visors white?? I like the idea of the black grille and the window trim.

How's the ride on such skinny tires lol

Looks great. Blacking out trim would be a good next step.

Try Dr Beasly's Wheel seal on those sparkling new wheels. It helps reduce dust, grim, and road buggers from sticking to the wheel, especially the inside of the wheel. You will keep that new wheel look longer with less cleaning and maintenance.

I probably will just do the rear roof spoiler and black out the chrome and black out the grill as well. So far rides good, the coilovers pretty much ride like the sport mode on the car, the ride is much firmer to me. Others will chime in on this as well, I guess it's a personal choice.

Yes, I use Dr Beasly's products. I get mine from Amazon.

I'm impressed with the lack of negative camber on the front. Do you know what the front camber is after your alignment?

What suspension components did you have to change in addition to the coil overs? Camber adjustment?

I didn't have to change any suspension components. If I can remember correctly the alignment shop said it was so many negative degree's, I will have to get back in contact with them to see.
