Why did you pick the nissan 240SX?

i actually wanted a jetta back when i was 16, but then i found out their fwd and that turned me off like a fat woman. So I did a google search for rwd cars and found that there is such a car as 240sx and it is rwd, and got obsessed. I didn't know much about car's back then so that was really my only requirement :P

Because back in 99 when i bought my s14:

1) 3000GT's were boat anchors2) Supras were too expenisve3) 350Z's didnt exist4) Everyone had a honda/acura (whats the difference really)5) 300Z's just didnt appeal to me6) All my friends were DSM guys and i had to be different (who wants crank walk anyways)

Man i am old...hahaha...but it was before drifting went big but right around the time JUN built a yellow s14 with so much torque it twisted the frame

For real though i have owned 2 240SX's and they have been nothing but the best, from trying to figure out what's wrong with them to finally getting this KA-T$ project under way on the 14. I wouldn't have it any other way 240SX for life!!!!

i bought my 1990 s13 piggy and i did love the car...

(much better then my old Kia sportage)<----dont ask

but it got into an accident after the Sr swap....

so now i had a totaled shell... a phat check from his insurance... what was i to do..... i had to get a S13 Vert... i mean who wouldnt do that?!

because they're cheap as f***, RWD, japanese and have tons of aftermarket support.

they're also fairly unique, at least in my area. most people have no idea waht kind of car i drive.

mom bought one brand new in 1992. When i was 16 it got handed down to me. That was a time when 240's were not popular and drifting was not heard of in the USA. Well you could argue that it was heard of....obviously people did know about it before it was popularized, but it was somewhat of an underground non media covered thing. That was when you could drive a 240 to high school and people would ask wtf it was.

i bought mine for the balance...the fun and all around michif im gona couse in it's when im gettin crazy!..and the fact that i got my 90 hatch for $1000. too with 2 engines 2 trannys and 2 of everything..hoods..lights..lots of extra's.couldent go wrong..my next choice would have been a (hatchiroku)

man..i have done that in a (geo metro)..just tell the um &^%$ to grab her friggin knees , lay the seet all the way back..roll her over and take her from behind..give her a hug..tell her she's hot...but that she's to good for you and you must moove on..tell her no phone calls and kik her to the curb walkin!...then...go driftin with your friends:)
