My car found me in a parking lot in Maine. I fell in love and next thing i know she was mine... MISTAKE!!! well a mistake in the fact that i dident know how a RB25 needed to cared for... but i still love the car and the way they drive. That and its pretty much the closest thing to a skyline i can get.

i bought mine because: its better than a honda, nissan makes the best cars, its FR, looks better than a miata, suspension options are damn near endless, the motors can go the distance (and then some), its a unique car because i have 1 of the only 3 coupes in the city where i live, and because it is so cheap to upgrade just about anything.

Lol, I understand, mine found me too back in 2001, I had this crappy old 85 ford LTD it died on me when I was taking my ex-wife (wasn't at the time) to work at 4am, we got to a stop light on travis blvd and north texas street and it shut off, I was so pissed off so I pushed it across the street to the gas station and left it there and walked to her job, I walked all the way home so I gathered my money up and went with her aunt to look for another car, we went to this crappy lil uhaul rental place with a lil dealer in it I saw a gold 240sx in the lot so we stopped, it caught my eye from the street we pulled in, it was like love at first site, mind you I didn't know crap about the 240sx at the time, I drove it and it was great, I sat in it and I was so comfortable, but I didn't want to jump for the first car I saw so we said we'd look around we went everywhere even up to sacramento and roseville, all I could think about was the lil gold car, we didn't id anything so we went back, as we were pulling back they was an older couple getting out of it, I was so mad cause that was my car (though it wasn't paid for or anything) I asked if they had bought it and the guy said no they test drove it, I asked how much? He said $2,999 I only had 1,500 so he told me if I wanted it he would do a finance like thing for me, so I took it, I love my gold 240sx I've had it since 2001 it even outlasted my marriage I drove her from california to chicago few months back and she made it with no problem and no more than $250 in gas from cali to chicago, she has 225,XXX miles on her and still running like she came out of the dealership, I still own "goldie" to this day, but yeah I didn't know anything about it when I saw it all I know is it looked great and it was a nissan didn't even know the model of nissan it was just something ws calling me towards it everytime I looked at another car

When I was in okinawa, a friend gave me a ride in his S13 Silvia. badass!! I always walked by this black 180sx that appeared to be abandoned and I always stared at it as I passed by it, and I always saw this white S14 Silvia in the parking lot where I worked and I always stared at that one when I passed by it. Got back to the states and started looking for a 180sx on line to buy! It only listed 200sx, 240sx, and that's when I discovered that we did not have 180sx/silvias in the states! Now that I looked back I should of looked into importing a car from there. Cars are super cheap in okinawa!

I got my car because chicks dig dudes with 240s with no stereo and an ECU chillin' where their feet belong..

But really, I drove my uncle's once...loved the way it drove, wanted.

My nephew ran out of funds for the S14..Same time he was joining the Air force. Around that same period of time my sis, his mom was getting evicted..The car was the last piece of their property on the property...So it was going to get picked up and sent to the city pound..So i made a quick call to him telling him what i was doing, after he had already joined and didnt know what was going on..

i needed a new car, my friend had his for sale, it was rwd, interior looked cool as hell, drove fantastic, steering was great, cheap, 240s look like poor mans ferraris, rwd, and have a **** load of parts available for them, and god wanted me to have my second one, there is no other way to explain how i got it.

I am looking at buying a 240sx because i'm looking to get into drifting, but i don't see why most of you guys hate on hondas. I have a civic and integra and they are both good cars. The only down side being that you can't drift them.

we dont hate Hondas is just the fact that every once in a while you get this moran trying to race and revs the engine every stop light thats why they get hated on

Every type of car has those drivers. More people drive hondas so it's natural that there are more bad honda drivers that go with it. Anyway sorry to get off topic. Hope I can get a 240 soon.

Because it's the perfect car for me.

It's everything I am and everything I'm about. It's screwING beautiful. The s13 hatch in grey/gunmetal metallic is one of the most georgeous cars I've ever seen in my life. It's drop dead sexy and you just don't see that many of them.

It's a drift car and I'm a drifter. My life revolves around drifting. So does this car.

It loves mountian roads. So do I. It may be underpowered but I bet you I beat you to the bottom of the mountian...

Nice looking interior. The only thing I'd change is throwing in some s14 black/grey seats or z31 recaro's. Other than that it's perfect.

Endless tuning possibilities. Anything you don't like about this car you can change. And it's not excecively expensive either.

I used to have an 84z and other than 2 extra cylinders and more squared off edges it was an identical car to this one.

My dream garage would be an 86 turbo z as a daily driver with tint and rims/suspension/lsd sittin next to a 93 240sx f/b ka-t track/drift car. Nothing would be better in my mind.

I wanted another car.

My lancer was done and i did EVERYTHING i wanted to do to it.

Saved up and bought a s13 hatch because i wanted to lean a different type of driving style.

Now my intention is to Restore/Mod it to enjoy FOREVER.

Also in the market for a s13 coupe because they have grown on me.

One Love,

Ghasty

I remember the phase when i was 16 and wanted nothing more than a 94+ GSR teg. WOW looking back was i an idoit. but I Think alot people said it, but GT2 is really where i seen it first. I remember saying silvia like the company "silvania"... lol. But from there, i bought a couple VHS (yes VHS) tapes at Zumiez that had a couple hours of driftin on them. fastforward to when i was 18, got my first coupe, soon after the transmission went and it was roted to ****, i parted it out, and had nothing for a year. got my hatch the following august from a guy here on nico. 2K for a completly stock CLEAN, no rust, flordia titled, 164k 240sx That winter (in november) bought a 89 hatch, planned on ca18 swapp for a DD but had to sell it bc the town didnt want a un reginsured car on a front lawn (under a carcover, and 1968 yellow vintage plates on it. ). Any ways i sold that. and the next november i did it again. bought another 90 for the swap for 100 bucks. car was ROT city. have a friend with a welding shop, and he said it wasnt ever gunna be road worthy again. sold that to the good old crusher and boom. here i am with my hatch still.

Moral of the long story:

Sexy2dr5spdrwdnot alot arounddid i mention sexy? also with the hatch seats down. it work wonders when giving it to your girl.

i owned an 86 camaro and i wanted to drift haha but my bro wrcked it before i got to really user her. So then i started searching for a 5spd chuki s13 hatch se and didnt settle till i found one, like 4 months later. i probably would have to give credit for the intitial interest to initial d/need for speed. theyre rwd, and affordable, and pretty quick for four cylinders. They last too my hatch has 231,000 and is still running strong. I just want another car to daily now so i can take my 240 apart and get to work. I love my car.
