That bugged me as well. Used to it know though. Twisted the knob in super tight to the lowest possible thread and it helped a little with mine.

I dont know why everyone drills the opposite side of the bay as the battery, there is a perfectly good area that is at least 8"H x 4"W on the driver side. Do you have a specific plan for the audio set-up? I hope you will be running power and signal cables down opposite sides of the car?

EDIT: That came off the wrong way, not trying to be a d!ck. I just dont understand why no one drills closer to the battery.

Amp will be mounted/hidden on the passenger side (thats why the wire is running down that side) Sub mounted near tail light driver side. custom box.

It seemed like a decent spot IMO....

Head lights is pretty much done... but i need my next pay day for the halos so not till then... sorry... didnt wanna pull a d4santis.... At least you guys can see the eyelids/shrouds being painted :)

Gotcha. Where did that spot come through? Has to be way up behind the glove box.

I remember someone posting that they drilled that side, and then ran the wire back down the driver side. Why, I dont know. I have 2 separate holes in my driver side and plenty of room for more. I guess some people are just afraid to get their hands dirty, the spot is pretty far behind the intake.

its behind the glove, pull it out, pull a bit of the jute aside and voila!
