In Russia, dash cams is a requirement by some insurance companies. It is the only real way to substantiate your claim in court, since hit and runs are very common in countries like that. Soon enough it'll be implemented in the U.S. too

My brother-in-law uses a dashcam pretty much all the time here in DFW, just got it about a year or so ago. I hope it doesn't become a requirement by law, as that's yet another hassle and headache to worry about on a daily basis (and another source of fking fines for the Popo to bother you with!) but I guess voluntary use is a good way to make sure you got what you need on video, when/if you need it!

Sorry to see the OP's coupe get smashed like that. Mine has been rear ended twice already by morons, the last one by a drunk driver in his redneck truck when my car was parked (of course the fker HAD to hit mine and not the 2 brand new Volvo(a)'s sitting next to it). I swear I hate being materialistic, but when my car got hit like that, for an instant I lost my mind....I almost cussed the first guy out when he ran into my car STOPPED at a red light but my wife talked some sense into me.

I don't know what's up with our cars getting smashed all the damn time right as we least expect it but I guess it's the numbers game. More modded Altimas + Altima forums + real life crap = sudden surge of incident reports.

Came from the shop on Friday and did some through and through look with the techs. Frame was untouched (holy crap i know) and its alll sheet metal work. (fender, quarter, skirt, etc etc) will see what the insurance company says tomorrow....

According to my forums search, it's for the 3.5 only. I wouldn't go with the NISMO intake tho since it just came out and will probably have issues. K&N is the best bang for your buck, and it's warranty friendly.

Nismo uses AEM. Just a re-badged AEM intake for the 3.5 that has been around since the car has been out.
