Funny, if you would be willing to pay her off, I have a '12 6MT white, loaded AC that I am actually looking to trade on a new car but getting the run-around from the dealerships (earlier today no less). We have elderly family forcing me to look at larger, 4dr cars...

get a tint shop to do it. best bet dont do it yourself, it is way too hard to get around the cruvature of the tail lights. and no clue about what the headlights youre talking about.. if yorue talking orbs use epoxy

I have the same exhaust as you - GReddy SE :D

Thanks though! As much as I love adding more parts to my car I don't think my wallet can back it up. :( If you want to donate a strut bar I'll be happy to take it :mike

Please, get the G35! Its the best Infinite model ever made thus far in my opinion. I did not like anything about the G37 at all. the 35 is where its at, hands down!

It was actually one of my options before getting the AC. I just wanted something with low low miles =)

The G35 is such a classy looking car, and when they are modified, they look extremely menacing. I regret getting my G37 coupe, I've put on a body kit, bolt on performance mods, coils and wheels. Spent around 13k on all of this just to realize the car shape itself is just not as aggressive as a g35 coupe.

My plan is to give my G37 coupe to my wife once she sells her 1-series, then I'm going to pick up a used but already modified g35 coupe in the near future.

I thought I was being smart by going for a newer version of my dream car, but man do I regret not getting the actual dream car itself

That's what I thought when I was choosing cars, but when you own one you will realize that the g37 is too round at nearly all edges.
It's just how many feel about the g37, it became somewhat like a female car like the TT. (No offense to anyone, but if you go on the streets you will see more than 70% of the people who drive g37 coupes are females.)

I like to feel special when driving my car, which is the main reason why I modify the appearance of it but the g37 just blends in with the crowd because of its bulbous body.

Another thing I hate is where the hood meets the grille... g37 coupe's hood is very-obviously separated from the grille where the g35 coupe flows smoothly into the grille. So unless you get black, that gap-like design just ruins it entirely. The headlight shape does look more aggressive on the g37, but i've seen some g35 coupes with similar eyelids to the OP's and they look sexy as hell. The g35 coupe still has the nicest OEM v6 exhaust note imo.

And the g35 coupe's butt when modified perfectly just gives me eyegasms all day.

Found one locally looks like this and once the 135i is sold, I am going to pull the trigger instantly.

I mean the G37 is not an ugly car, but for MY tastes, it just looked too luxurious inside and out. The inside is what killed me. All those knobs, gizmos and doo-dads. It may not be alot to you, but im a simple guy and dont need all that stuff. The G35, however, was a PERFECT hybrid between sports and performance. Its exactly what I liked about the 3000gt VR4. It had the perfect cross. Everything you need for your general luxury convenience with a focus on performance as well. The G35 surpassed that with flying colors, not to mention, its sweet sweet stock exhaust tune. It's the only sound out that that makes it one of a kind (excluding their FX)

Well, since we got off topic... lol. I think the G37 coupe has one of the most aggressive front ends of all time tbh. Only problem is it's kinda too bubbly, just like the new model altima coupe. I don't mind it. :gotme

Image

What I hate about the G35 is the front end, it's just too plain even when you add a kit + eyelids. The rear end, however, oh my gawd I'll take that thing any day of the year. Besides the g35's fenders are very friendly with aggressive setups. I've seen people run 19x14s wheels on g35s and it didn't look awkward at all.

so yeah, G35 > G37

lol yea a little off topic, or you can look at it as encouraging Innovazn ;)

You're totally right, the G37 is bubbly too just like our AC, at least those headlights =)

I guess we have different tastes :) All depends on what the OP thinks, but honestly they are both nice, just that the lines of the g35 coupe catches my eyes every time one of those drive passes me.
Are you looking to mod your next car? If yes, g35 coupe is definitely the winner especially when you can fit wheels with huge lips in the rear since they take much more aggressive offset wheels.

This is how a perfect G coupe looks like:

Image

This flat colour is awesome on the g35 coupe, I don't like the "hellaflush" look with that much negative camber but still:
Image

G37 coupe:
Nice front end when you're not planning to modify the front (not much options in terms of making the car stand out from the rest)
Too round and bulky every where else, it lost the the classic lines of the G35 coupe

G35 Coupe:
Nice front end when modified (the first generation g35 coupe front end is not as good looking, but the generation with the newer headlights and sport bumper is already sexy as hell)
Sexy side profile (as you can see above)
The rear is just awesome, plain awesome (stock is nice, modified is just mind blowing)

:fap: Holy crap, is that the car in the picture I posted? the grille looks a little different, but holy sh.... flat white + sexiest body kit = I wish that car was local.
$23k for that? A stock one that's not rebuilt right now where I live goes for $18k with the same odometer BUT IN MILES. That car looks super clean in and out, has the start button too which is the only thing I love in my g37 haha. And aren't cars in Canada more expensive?

In fact... buying that is like earning quick cash, selling exhaust and wheels would probably get me back the difference compared to a stock one and I get to keep the suspensions. I wonder how much that hood is worth, read somewhere that they only made a limited quantity of those. Plus, looks like the owner takes good care of his car and did all the maintenance for the next owner too...looks like all the expensive parts are already replaced.

You lucky bastard, I wouldn't even need to sell my bmer to get that, i'd just get my friend or even my wife (last resort) to lend me a few grand and pay him off later. :argh

I've reposted my for sale items on front page. Guys, when youre looking to buy something, be reasonable. If you are someone who is barely active on the forums, I'm more then likely going to charge a bit more. Why? because i can, I help those who contribute. Keep in mind. Custom headlights for 100 a piece is disrespectful to me and my written off AC. You know damn well who you are.

I really hate g35 coupes with kenstyle body kit and the greddy body kit, it's just too extreme for the sleek looking car.
