Am I seeing this properly? The grille on the 2012 looks like a completely separate piece all the way up into the engine bay? I see a definitive line the whole way up.
Lip looks great molded in, if you did the same to that grille I think it would look amazing. Just completely eliminate every line around it.

Molding the grille = Not an option.

Would be too hard/frustrtaing to remove the bumper if the need came up.

I would look awesome and all.. but im happy with how things are set up

So you can drop the bumper without even taking the grille off? Or does it clip in somehow? I see the push pins along the top, that cant be the only thing holding it in place.

The grille is a separate part from the bumper.
There are clips that keep the grille attached to the bumper and you can actually pulll off the grille while the bumper is still mounted to the car. All it takes is undoing the push pins on top and slightly pulling on the grill.
I dont see how having a molded grill would add difficulty removing the bumper as the only thing that needs to be undone from the grille is the push pins.

^Thats kind of what I was getting at. If anything it would make it easier as everthing would be 1 solid piece. I have to pop those push pins everytime I drop my bumper, it takes 10 seconds total?

I really hope it's not a total loss. You need a new door and a quarter panel.. why does this always happen to people with heavily modded A/C's?!

omg man, that really blows. I'd kill a b****, lol... Glad to hear you're ok though.

That is one fear I have after my insane mods are done that this could happen.
