badbob- i am really leaning towards getting out. the only things that scare me is this economy and the fact that i have 2 kids as well. this is a garunteed paycheck and retirement. I know i can get a good job if i were to get out...but only if its available. Ive already put in nearly 8 years so it would only be twelve more if i stayed but to be honest this USMC hardass all the time mentality we have to have kinda wears on you after a while. I will prolly be making the ultimate choice when i get to go on my post deployment leave here in about a month...ten whole days "enter sarcasm" i have 80ish on the books to show how often im given the chance to go home with this unit...time to have them take some...well i got to go man the rails for our port visit in guam...
