hahaha yeah the original assembly for those that are following took place in my barracks room on second deck, on a field day night, we carried it down fully assembled after it sat in my wall locker rapped in plastic wrap for month or 3...my room mate is actually a girly girl and she thinks it sweet since its clean all the time...plan to scare her away failed

thanks guys...The build is gonna slow down for a bit cause im having 2 of my vertebra in my neck fused together tomorrow morning...Not sure how functional ill be but ill prolly get most of the tiny things finished. Car is parked at home now, no engine of course. There is some dyno runs on this build somewhere but its pre supercharger. havent had it running twin charged yet.

Alright guys, thanks for the quick recovery vote motoman, I was planning on doing some tiny stuff over the past few days but turns out morphine can play great tricks at making you think your feeling okay, now that that has worn off i now realize I have a 4 inch cut in my throat and 4 screws and some metal bolting my spine together, all of which feels horrible. But I will be making some templates for the tensioner pulley and my door skins. As of now i just got to get my head machined, valves cut, and i need a new headgasket. Im sure there is some small stuff i still have to do but im kinda out of it right now...oh i did finish my ksport hydro ebrake...pain in the a** to figure out its "universal" instructions. but if i had to do it again it would be simple as all heck. Ill put up some pics here shorlty

that looks amazing but...the problem doesnt come from the smoothness. if you put them side by side the xcessive plenum is huge...huge....huge. My guess is the instant gulp of air when you punch it gets sucked into the head and when the car falls flat on its face that is the air sucked out of the plenum and not enough to maintain a good flow or reserve of air...I could be wrong but, upon installation of the xcessive plenum the car could be floored without it "falling on its face" just after acceleration. It was a noticeable gain.

got some updates. My stock door panels did not fit with the roll cage. So i made my own. also I wanted to keep my mirror switch so I modified my cluster bezel to fit the switch. and Iv got a pick of the intake mani with the sc plate bolted down. there are no gaskets on this. its just mocked up so i could see were the sc tensioner needed to be. Then i made it.

really...I think i remember..but only cause of the wheels in your sig a silvia front...I see so many people (240)there and very few actually know whats going on with there cars. if i get numbers from them it is usually a short descritption of there car as the name...But yeah was definetly me but i finally towed my car of parts home cause i didnt feel like paying $8 a day..was there for like 4 months already. much cheaper at home.

Is there enough contact from the belt on the alternator and water pump? It seems like it would slip or something.

good question...we shall see. Im going to say yes. the water pump has plenty, the alternator isnt like the supercharger where increase in rpm also increases drag, it spins at the same drag the entire time.

any reason you wouldn't run two belts. One on water pump and one on alt/charger?

I like the door cards. pretty minimalist.

yes. I actually wanted to do it that way but, the pulleys all lined up with one another. cant run two belts on the same set of grooves.. I thought about recessing the alternator but then it is way to close to the oil filter.

what about a spacer behind the water pump pulley. if you have a mill machine you could do it pretty easy.

Recess alt? How easy would it be to run alt on the outter and water/charger on the inner.

Eh. It looks pretty good. If it doesn't run on one belt then start to worry. What I am thinking would in one way or another require hours of modding. I'm ready to see this fire up.

now were talking...the outside pulley is a 3 groove...doesnt really bother me since the sc pulley is a 6 groove running on 4.
Here is the problem, water pump even extended the belt will hit the water pump unless i make a second tensioner pulley., alternator is what is acting as my belt tensioner. I am confident that everything will spin properly. i may have problems with the alternator, it has the least amount of belt touching it. i will test this with a multimeter and the dyno when run time comes. this is why i have not started selling these. I want to make sure this setup will work before i sell them. also keep in mind my front spot for the crank pulley is reserved for the dohc powersteering pump. Im in the process of making an adapter plate for it. I would love nothing more than to start this thing up but money is tight since my daily FORD f150 fx4 decided it hates trannies for the second time in 3 months.

i really like powersteering...I know that if i make this kit and didnt make a powersteering alternative it would make a lot of people change there minds on it
