Because NICO has a policy of not allowing political threads, we are going to heavily moderate the threads that pop up in the next day or so. However, we do realize that this election is very important to many of our members and they would like to talk about it with their friends on NICO. So we have created this thread to discuss this year's election, the results, etc. We do ask that you keep things relatively civil in here and that you confine your comments to this thread only.

Thank you,

The NICO Admin/Mod Team

I refuse to guess or listen to a stupid exit poll this time. We'll have a clue of who might be winning by 2am.

Oh yeah, I also voted Libertarian all the way through the ballot (except for Bush, mostly because of the war and because angry liberals are more fun than angry conservatives). I hesitated on governor, since Claire McCaskill is practically a witch, but I still voted Libertarian for that too.

I'm having a relapse of my depression so I'll be drunk tonight. If Bush gets it, someone let me know so I can go ahead and pull the trigger.

Thanks.

Since the polls will be closed in CST shortly, this CNN site will be updated soon to show status of the election.

i have to ask why the constitutional party is not on the nico poll? we are the largest "third" party. we have more members than the libertarian, reform, or green partys. i made up my mind and joined the const party at the last minute and voted for my man peroutka(sp?).

Hell if you were down here, we could go drinking together.

P.S. - Why is CBS reports so grossly different from CNN? I'm watching both live and Dan Rather (punkass) is predicting over 40 electoral votes more than CNN has listed.

P.S. Spin. Right now Fox news says 74:66 Kerry and MSNBC says 81:77 Bush. We wont know anything soild till closer to midnight.

I checked the Indiana ballot. If I wrote Mr1der in as president, it would not be counted because it is not an offical write in cannidate. I think we may have a lawsuit here in Indiana, for disenfranchsing 1der votesrs.bud

Looks like Bush is going to pull Florida, Ohio is too close to call at this point. I'll be closely watching Ohio, I'm going to ***** at the girl I've started seeing if her state doesn't pull through for my man G.W!

I predict that Bush will get the most popular votes but Kerry will win the electoral. Swing states are going to lean towards Kerry. That's just what I think and hope. Plus, Redskins lost.
