You need Z32 rotors to match calipers and pads. S chassis coil overs.

The CTS and IAC how to's are in the FSM's EC sections

I’m the original owner of a 1998 Nissan 240SX SE in Great Condition with only ~79k miles which I must soon sell to make way for a family-friendly vehicle.

The car is black and features 5-speed Manual Transmission, AM/FM/CD/SAT Audio System with Steering Wheel Audio Controls, AC, Alloy Wheels, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Mirrors and Sunroof, and Driver and Passenger Airbags.

Does anybody out there have any idea how much the car is worth nowadays so I can list it at a fair price? Any recommendations for the best venue to sell a car like that? Ebay? Dealership? Private Listing?

Thanks All!

The base fender is the same, but there is a piece that goes on the bottom of it (to match the front bumper) that is different.

89-90 use a 26mm front caliper where 91-96 use a 30mm caliper so you need to match the rotors to the caliper years, other then that the pads are the same and so is the hardware.

I'm trying to install an OBX header on my KA24de and can't get the damn EGR pipe off to save my life. Can I cut the pipe and weld it shut like many do, but without removing any other emissions equipment?

Usually if you would block it off at the intake manifold as opposed to trying to weld it shut. Typically when people talk about welding shut the EGR area, they are talking about on the factory manifold.

Alright. Gotta question. Took a few pics.
Was under the car and saw that one of the boots for a connector on the trans. (manual) was pulled back. On the sensor was two prongs but the wires for the connector were just wrapped around each prong? Is this correct or is this jerry rigged? Need to know in case I need to go get a new connector or something...

I have a 1991 240sx and a 1995 240sx, both stock engines and transmissions. If I wanted to swap the engine and transmission from the 91 into the 95 would I need to make any modifications to make it work or would it just be an easy swap?

if its an OBDII 1995 model, I think you have to swap intake manifolds, but that might be it.

Hey everyone, I'm saving money for a 240sx but which is the best year or model to get? Right now I'm really considering a 1990/91 S13 but some of my fiends are suggesting a 98. I like the rear lights alot better on the 91 but my friends are saying that the 98 is faster stock and is easier to get parts for. Just need some extra advice with in a 9 month time span. Thanks, dueces!

All 240sxs from 1991 to 1998 got the same 2.4 liter inline 4 cylinder (KA24DE) engine. 89 and 90 models got a 2.4 liter single over head cam engine which made about 10 less hp.
The 98 is definitely NOT faster stock, and definitely NOT easier to get parts for. If anything, it may be a little slower due to its higher weight. Your friends are full of crap.

I dunno, the only time I ever pulled mine off was after I pulled the injectors. They are in there pretty tight, but once I got the injectors out, the fuel rail came right off. :gotme

Ok forum, I've been putting some thought into my car selection and I wanted to know a couple things:
1. What is a good year for a Nissan 180sx?
2. Is an S15 better?

Thanks everyone, deuces!
