To the guy that asked about rot in the last thread:
Yes, all the areas I listed are areas that you should be inspecting for rot. Also don't forget to check under the rear spoiler if it has one.

^ I'm pretty certain they are the same as it's not a component that's changed in the conversion.

My question: What is that little elbow for? I can't seem to find a use for it anywhere. Searched all sorts of threads and the FSM but I can't figure it out. It is probably something really simple. BTW this isn't my motor I can't get pictures from my phone anymore and this is the only pic I found that you can see it.

Is it just a vacuum line on the intake manifold? Is it the one for the brake booster?

I thought the brake booster line was a much shorter elbow, and was also higher on the intake mani... I could be wrong though.

There is a sticky in this forum for BRM exhaust systems. They have pretty good reviews.

The other option would be to go custom. I've heard that factory WRX mufflers flow pretty well. You could increase the piping size, and bring it back to a WRX muffler. That would increase flow while keeping things quiet.

Anyone know if the SOHC downpipe fits with a DOHC manifold? I went to coutesyparts and the part numbers are the pretty much the same. If so then it should mach up to a test pipe for a 91+too correct?

Well it could depend on the manifold... that would be a question for the manufacturers. I can't find a downpipe for sale anywhere that fits both applications.

Can't you tell from the intake manifold? Is that 10 miles away too?

Just out of using a ruler and picture of a ka24de tb gasket, I've concluded that the outside of one bolt hole to the outside of the opposite bolt hole is approximately 87mm (assuming 60mm id). Also, the gap between the main opening and the inside of the bolt hole is approximately 6mm. Wish I could help you more.

^These are only approximations and I wouldn't use them for something extremely size sensitive.

What do you need this information for?

Thinking about making a custom lower plenum and wanted to plan it out on the computer. the stock one kinda makes me angry every time I have to work on it, and yes the manifold is attached to the tb 10 miles away.. Thanks for the info all I needed was an approximation so I could order the right size material.

Hey I wanted to know if anyone here has dealt with Team Clockwork in LA. Has anybody gotten their swap done there?

How has it been running? just wondering because they seem shady, and they are disrespectful. Let me know!

I have no idea what Echeck is, but you might want to anonymously call a testing facility and ask them before bringing it in... or try to find a crooked shop and grease some palms.

+1, Enjuku is always a solid choice. They have been a NICO sponsor for a LONG time.

Hey I was wondering about these. They look real, but then they look like they have some differences from the real EV5.

Anybody know?

that deal look uber shady. Read the "keywords" at the bottom. At best, the wheels are probably stolen.

Ha I didn't read the keyword part, I don't know what that's all about.

Another question I wanted to ask is, what kind of company is Enkei? As in, is it like xxr, sportmax, OR like Volk, Rays, and Advan etc. Are they an original company? Or do they just make replicas?
