What is a good way to rid of tree sap stains(I'm pretty sure that's what they are)? My car appears to have them and they're fairly stubborn.

Dunno if its too technical of a question for this thread, but I figured it was better than starting a new thread for a simple question.

When I purchased my S13, I also inherited all the related AC stuff for the KA24DE. Unfortunately I didn't inherit any of the related bolts and nuts required to mount it, so if anyone can tell me how many and what sized bolts are required, it would be much appreciated.

Another question I wanted to ask is, what kind of company is Enkei? As in, is it like xxr, sportmax, OR like Volk, Rays, and Advan etc. Are they an original company? Or do they just make replicas?
Did you try googling Enkei? Let me put it this way, Enkei are among the few companies such as BBS, OZ, and Rays that supplies Formula 1 teams with wheels. Mclaren uses Enkei wheels.

No idea best bet is a junk yard. Chances are you can get them from a 240 or altima.

I currently have a ka24de, i'm trying to decide if i should switch to an SR20, rb or just turbo the Ka, i'm on a tight budget and it's pretty much bone stock. i mainly use it as a daily driver and a weekend drifter.

How many miles are on the KA, how is the compression? Please check before saying okay. Any problems, leaks, weird issues?

Don't bother doing it at all then. You gotta pay to play.

Sap stains on the exterior? I've used goo gone once or twice and it didn't seem to damage my clearcoat at all.

Goo gone is good. Acetone is the quickest, but you'll have to wet sand afterwords...

Thanks for the help. I'll just apply some rubbing compound(or polishing depending on what I have on-hand) first and see how it works but if not I'll try Goo Gone.

^Could be a blown valve, but I doubt because of a custom exhaust. It could also be as simple as a bad spark plug. Make sure you rule out other possible, easy-to-fix solutions before you jump to rebuilding the head.

-Spark Plugs
-Plug Wires
-Distributor Cap

Are you positive it's even a misfire?

Definitely post a video of it. You might actually want to start your own thread too.

Common issues with these at age are fuel injector O rings, and lack of maintenance. So if its not a spark issue I would check the injectors.

-Check for spark, then injectors, then compression

Best thing when buying a used car is go over over the car well
Check for leaks
Change fluids, coolant, and vacuum lines that are spongy or rough
Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, replace fuel filter, replace PCV valve, air filter
Clean throttle body, and IAC
Time it

Try searching some photos, and see if you can base the wires off those pics.

Just make sure you get the ones for your car. Coupe for Coupe, hatch for hatch, and S14 for S14

Trans- Im installing my transmission (finally) and I lifted in in to place, slid it in and rotated it to the right position but right before it gets lined up it stops. The bolt holes are misaligned by about 1/2 to a 1 inch. I need to turn it counter clockwise another inch but it will stop because Im hitting something but I can turn it clockwise with no problem. Theres nothing on the outside stoping it so it must be on the inside, but I dont know what it can be. And it was in neutral the whole time btw.

Brake- Along time ago my bros pass side rear bleader valve wouldnt come off so he took my cailper. Last week I was bord and I got it off, so we decided to rebuild it. Now my bro finished rebuilding it yesterday but the piston wont retract into the cailper, so were stumped why it wont go in because we replaced all the seals and gaskets.

If your removing stuck on items on your 22 year old car, it may be hard. warm it up a little, then try goo gone or a light lacquer thinner. Just do a test spot first.

no worries, i'm looking to improve my struts (stock) and i am looking into sway bars, what would some good ones be. i mainly use my car as a daily driver with some fun to it, but later on i might convert to a track car.
