We definitely met and exceeded the goal. I think we currently sit around 50-55 kits ordered.

It was a great group buy and I'd like to thank Robert for setting it up with us. If it weren't for him contacting me this probably would not have happened.

Thanks guys!

lol.. well time for me to own up. As working for STILLEN, with my job being the person in charge of the website, I guess that is my fault.

I've fixed the coupon code, and I assure you any orders placed tonight will go out at the group buy rate.

My apologies for the inconvenience...

Great news... I think. When I compare the intake that I have in my hands to the one in the picture... the MAF sensor is more angled instead of pointing straight up. Mine is the black version though. And my INJEN badge is facing the windsheild instead of the grille. Weird.

I'll compare if I go on Saturday and ask to look at both versions.

BlackNWhite, that is exactly the result you should be getting.

If you look at the picture of the Injen in the 3.5SE, you will see that the mounting points are different. That's essentially why the 3.5SE version dips down so much.

My intake on my 2.5 looks nearly identical to yours.

Also, since you have the MAF sensor angled so far it may not rub against the lining. I would still tape it up where the wires are showing...

GJ and hope you like it.

No, that picture isn't my car. It's from another forum. The maf in that one sticks almost straight up... the intake that is in my hands... the maf is angled down almost horizontal.

i just intalled my intake today. man oh man is it awesome. the only thing that i did wrong because i didn't find it in the instructions until the end, i forgot to disconnect the negative wire. i feel so dumb. but when i turned the car on, nothing popped up on the screen or anything so i think im fine.

but yeah omg, this intake kicks the As* right out the door. can't wait to take this on the street, on my way to school, im gonna tear up the streets just like the other guy who works on 25 and is gonna rip it up on 25 and 106/107.

hey long beach, i go to school in old westbury, NYIT, hit me up we'll go mess around on the street man.

just wanted to thank Kyle, and all of the other Stillen people who were behind this group buy. This is the most happiest i have ever felt. THANK YOU

I just received my polished intake today, but it came with a black heat shield. I thought the heat shield would also be polished. Did anyone else with a polished intake get a black heatshield with it?

Why is everyone getting opposite color heat shields from their intakes? Mine came out ok. Maybe all you guys should get a list going and swap your heat shields?

Well I came home the other day and found my Injen Intake waiting for me and as I was deciding wether to wait or go put it on I realized that I did not have the heat sheild and I was wondering if any of you guys or girls received the intake without this part. Its no big deal but I was really excited about putting it on this weekend. I spoke with Alex from Stillen and he says he needs a number on the boxx so he can contact Injen tto send me the part but I will have to wait maybe till monday to get back with him just wanted to check and see if anyone else had this happen.

The heat shield really isn't visible so I guess I can live with the wrong color. It just doesn't say much for Injen's quality control.

Johhhhnnny. I'm gonna go exchange mine today and see if those are still mixed. If they are and I can't get a matching shield... I'll trade you.

I received my intake last night and installed it today at my shop. Let me first start off by saying wow that intake is a tight fit for the 2.5!! It's very snug to the battery wall and the fuse box to the right of the heatshield. After working through all of that I took it out out on the runway, I work in the Air Force and the runways were close today so I snuck my A/C out there and opened her up!! Man does it sound nice!!! I am very impressed and pleased with the sound and performance. Thanks Kyle and Dr. Feelgood for getting this GB together!!

Its supposed to be for the 07/08 models. I hope it fits, because mine says '07 too.

i'm just curious if its a bad thing to put that CCV box upside down? I mean with that 'lobe' that is over the injen hose placed under the injen hose.

i have a pic but still cant place it...

I think Injen changed the design. The rubbing was caused by the MAF sensor adapter because it stuck straight up. On my intake (have not installed it - got it today) it seems as if it is more forward facing, thus no rubbing!

^Yes... I brought this up the other day. They redesigned the placement of the maf sensor. It's angled more towards the front of the car instead of straight up. And the INJEN placard is facing the windshield.

I'm very happy. And Longbeachcoupe... dude. I got the same thing, polished heat shield for a black intake. I even had the sales manager open up a bunch of other boxes and nothing but polished shields.

I'm gonna trade with Johnny on Thursday.

Yeah, I remember reading the post(s) where you mentioned that it was different. It made me happy, hoping mine would be the same, lol. Anyway, I don't have a mismatching heat shield, though I am a tad disappointed at the finish. I ended up ordering the polished one, and there are two minor dents on the top of the tube close to the filter, and there are some dark spots, which look like pin holes, clustered under the MAF adapter; but none of that will be (very) visible once installed, and it doesn't bother me much at all. Overall,

does anyone know about this??? i want to put it to rest and switch it if it's a bad thing, or just leave it and not worry that i'll be harming anything.

Curious Anyone know if this intake or the Fujita intake smog legal or C.A.R.B. Approved????

If so I will gladly be placing an order later.
