Sorry guys,This is one Canadian that has to back out. Shipping was $26usd but shipped by UPS, their brokerage fees are through the roof! Great price but I'll have to look locally to save some money.

Ps. There is an interesting read on nissan club: http://www.nissanclub.com/foru....html.reguarding injen vs fujita. Looks like on the 2.5, the MAF sensor location may rub against the hood liner, causing a hole and possible damage to the sensor wiring. Don't think its a worry on the 3.5.

I clear my own packages through customs. Just tell UPS you're gonna clear it yourself. I just drive down to the customs office and fill out a few forms and save the $60.

you're riding in a 30K car, you pay 50 bucks to fill up your tank, and you have to get permission to get an intake??????

Yay, I finally ordered! I don't even know what I was waiting for, since I knew I wanted it since the first group buy posting came up :-)

My confirmation email still showed the CA-sales-tax-inflated price of $273.39, but after reading the previous replies I'm assuming that will be corrected soon.

Thanks again Kyle for setting this up! Hope to do more group buys in the future, it truly is a win-win for everybody!

Update: As expected Margaret followed up, new adjusted price is now $231.86 (thanks CA sales tax). Estimated shipping date is January 25-February 1.

Be patient brothers. Margaret advised that mine would ship in up to 2 weeks, and then it went out the very next day.

Just got an email from Margaret with an update on availability and shipping date, here the text (note that I ordered a black one for my 3.5 sedan):
Margaret wrote:Just wanted to touch base with you and keep you updated on your order.

I know that we were able to ship a few black 3.5L intakes out late last week since INJEN was able to get some to us. However, the 2.5L polished and black and the 3.5L polished intakes are not available yet.

INJEN is currently manufacturing your intake. We hope to have your order shipped within the week. However, it all depends on if INJEN can keep up with the demand.

KILLER NEWS!!!(well at least for me anyway)

Came home from work tonight to see my black INJEN intake on the table...aaaah niceee..

Then got news that my 3.5 Altima Coupe arrived at the dealership today...AAAAHHH NICEEE!!!

Heard that when you get it ordered from the factory that you have to wait 2-3 days for the paper work to arrive???

Anyway, talk about a good day

Is the hood rub pictured here:

http://www.nissanclub.com/foru....html

A problem only in manuals or across the board with the Injen's? Maybe Kyle could get an official response from Injen.

Its just a matter of if you want service or not... Margret Lo has been in contact with me several times... You have to contact THEM if you have an issue.. not expect them to monitor a messageboard and then know who you are and your order information and then to contact you... Just seems to me like if i had a problem, i would call someone or email someone... not put a "contact me please" on a message board..

crazyitalian,

remember, they just do an authorization at first, it won't actually be charged until it ships!

in regards to the comments about them shipping late, remember, only the black 3.5's were in stock, they had to wait for more to be built from Injen. paitience is a virtue fellas.
