My parents are the complete opposite. They like when I do stuff to my car. They think it makes it unique I guess. And I love to modify cars. I have never owned a completely stock car and normally I cant keep a car more than a year. Idk there is always somehting that comes out that I want to get. It was real hard getting rid of my STi but I love my coupe. I had a newer Eclipse and it sucked in my opinion. But you learn from mistakes I guess.

No one can really say for sure until the R&D is done. However its the same engine in the same engine bay with the same transmission. Should be any reason that a final product for the coupe couldn't fit a sedan, with minor tweaking of course

We shall see how well they did with their turbo system on a real functioning car. Stillen has produced some amazing forced induction products. I think you will be very pleased with the outcome

kyle@stillen wrote:Hey guys,

We definitely plan on doing ALOT MORE to the Altima Coupes. Forced induction has been discussed and we are simply trying to come up with the best system for the Altima's. Both 2.5 and 3.5 are on the R&D list but that's not to say that they will get similar kits. We have already begun building the turbo kit for the 2.5 but we still aren't sure if we want to turbo the 3.5...It might get a supercharger of some sort.

We will update you with more information as soon as we get it.

We have talked with the Nissan engineers and have found that the CVT transmission can handle LOTS of power.
sounds good! dont forget about the sedans too and wasnt Ramon (the guy you guys developed the catback for the sedan) going to let you guys do more development for the sedan

Definitely waiting a while before forced induction (unless a product dev opp comes along).Really want to see a blower solution vs. turbo personally (not, knocking the Turbo's guys).

Wow, a supercharger would be great! I have an Eaton M62 on my truck, and if I'm correct, Stillen uses that same Eaton on some of their set-ups. I'd prefer an SC over a turbo any day, for instant power on tap, easier installation, low maintanence, and basically a trouble free life.

Of course, I'd be crankin' mine at close to max RPM's with the smallest pulley manageable Now I'm really getting excited!

We might use the Eaton blower, we might use a centrifugal, we may even try a Rotrex. Or, we might end up with a turbo. It's too early to tell right now.

We do like to use superchargers because of the instant power delivery and smooth operation. 4 cylinder engines love turbo's and work great with them while V6's tend to just like boost in general haha. Whether it's delivered by a supercharger or a turbo it enjoys it. V8's are allllll about superchargers.

We look forward to seeing what Artisan comes out with. We love competition and comparison. We have been working on FI Nissan's now for over 20 years. And every time we do a forced induction project our focus is on quality and performance, not expediated release dates. I don't know when the kit will be ready but I can tell you that it will be very well engineered and just like all of our other kits will offer a great power gain while keeping reliability in mind.

Man, Stillen is the like the most consumer friendly company ever! They're pretty much giving everyone what they want. Not to mention their business savvy, they're not wasting any time getting their parts into this untapped 'niche market.'

I think ive said this before.. but im a banker... and when dealing with companies looking for funding, too often there is management who understands their business so well, they forget that the bottom line is the thing that counts...

I am also the "Deal Guy"

Stillen may be making lets say $20 less per Eibach kit by selling it at the GP... but they increase their bottom line because they sold XX more than they would have...

I am very happy that there is somewhere to get parts that understands that cash is king, and being competitive is very important... Im sure the Nico owners are happy too as i assume they get some sort of revenue stream from this...

The best part, is that we all get top-notch products, for ebay-esque prices!

Yes, bottomline is the dollar. It's good that Stillen understands, and has found a good balance between profit, customer service, and giving the consumer what they want at a great price. It's a win win for everyone!

hmm how about none?? a thong represents more aesthetic values as opposed to just informal good old genuine practicality...

in any case, i would rock these...

i wonder if it would be hard to paint them? im guessing its metal, so you need to find the right base coat and sand it down nicely...

my car is white i wouldnt mind getting it painted body matching color or a sharper eye catching color so people know its not stock LOL

You can use a high-temp paint. Just be sure to tape off whatever needs to be.
