S13-2JZ Build

Let me start out by saying im pretty new to this forum, but ive been buzzin around lookin at peoples stuff and u seem like a good bunch of guys. i have this build goin on 2jzswap.com but i thought id post it on here and see wut u guys thought of it. Background: 1990 Nissan Silvia K's. Imported the car from Japan in later 2005 came over with around 40,000km. Now has a little over 50,000 on the body, with no rust, no wear, car was almost perfect when i got it except for cracks in the leather seats which i took out and replaced with R32 seats.

Painted the car and slapped on an Origin Labs Aggressive aero kit.



I kno the tire stance sucks but i didnt have enough cash to afford the five lug conversion or even deecent wheels. and i put on coilovers a cpl days after this was taken and i just didnt take another i guess.



Made a glove box mount for the boost and turbo timer.

Before I started the swap I had Fujitsubo Exhaust, Apexi Air Intake, Intercooler, Blitz BOV, Greddy Boost Controller and Turbo Timer, Megan Coilovers.

So here is wut we accomplished on Day 1 and some of the parts i bought and recieved. enjoy.



took off all the hosing, piping, radiator and fan setup which let me tell u was a friggin struggle...disconnected lines of all sorts.



random cigarette can...dont ask me y...cuz i have no idea wut its doing there or how it got there.





all dirty and ugly lol.



engine out!



trunk stripped



same with backseat area.



2J when i got it. still with all the shizat on it.





ripped it mostly down and then called it quits.

haha have no fear. wheels have been ordered from vivid racing. have to wait and see (its a suprise..hint Volk lol) turbo is in.. so i plan on doin some shakin and movin with this project in the next few days

great freakin work so far, im glad to see some more 2j swapped 240's build threads. Im sorta planning on swapping 1 too by next year, so all this info and pics can be really helpful. As far as the swap kit you got from tech 2 how much was that and if you have a website or somethin that would be great. Keep up the good work and keep us posted, im loving it so far..

6spd's are for when u have deep pockets and want the absolute ballin factor. 5 speed is the meal ticket forsure man. handles more power then any street car would reasonably need and pretty cheap. so its a win win

yessir mike's a good guy and he hooked me up. it was pretty awesome so i think i shall buy stuff from there regualrily from now on. wish i woulda known about them sooner, orginially i ordered a badass set of gramlight 57pro's with the titanium coating lips from mamsparts.com and they f***** dropped the ball hard and 3 months after i ordered them i found out the guy i was dealing with got fired and there was no order that existed for me.
