It would be square. These are my cheap wheels so I don't care much about them, but I think a 225-45-17 or a 235-40-17 will fit best on the 8.25. The 9.75, meh 255-305 depending on your flavor.

I've got 245's on 17x8's in the back on my car right now. The side wall is perfectly vertical with the face of the wheel. And the contact patch is perfect

Really? Why? What other alternatives are there at this price that weigh that close to stock, lets you run 235+ rubber, looks this nice & is 4 lug?

Seems like a no brainer to me. Unless you're trying to conform to some SCCA classification rules or something...

There are none. I'm just being a buttplug. As far as SCCA goes, I can just throw on stockers when I go autocrossing (If I ever make it out there again). I just really haven't experienced the effects of wheel weight, so I don't know what to expect.

You probably won't even notice it in a daily driver. As I understand it, if the rotational mass increase isn't very much, the increased traction from wider rubber negates effects of the weight increase.

When I switched to heavy Z33 Anniversay wheels, over my stock s14 SE's, acceleration felt a little... dulled... That's the only way I can describe the feeling. But at the same time, I felt more torque being put to the ground after going from 195 rubber to 245's...

Ehhh the reality is that this were supposed to ship January, then mid feb, then late feb and so on and so on. Meanwhile they are sitting on out money, granted 500 bucks isn't much but still I rather have it sitting in my account for 5 months earning like 60 cents.

true true. which i'm scared i'll be in your position which is why i haven't bought/ordered them yet. and i'm waiting for them to be readily available. i would call an harrass the s*** out of them. thats what i did to sprint for them to order me a new phone since they couldnt/didnt want to fix mineand i pay the extra $7.00 a month for insurance on it.
