Wow that looks 10x better then any of the xxr wheels and has a better offset... And there only 500 a set???

Anyone know how they hold up over time?

Crap. Just took in 18 pages of info! Lol but I have one question on fitment for my setup on what ppl would recommend as all I see when I search are stretched tires... I would like to get a set of 527s all around on my s13 all she has now is a pro kit for lowering on some tokico blues I'm leaning toward 17x8.25 +25 all around. Can't seem to find a pic of these on the car? And still cant decide the tires I can fit vs the ones I want. I'd like 245 40s all around but I could do 225s as well don't want 215 if I can get away with the larger sizes without rubbing.. would I require a roll and spacers? I want a decent flush look no sunkin battleship and no super poke that's why I think this width rim will work? In the near future I will put on some coils and lower in enough to get rid of more wheel well so I'm hoping this setup will still work then... Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction... Also I'm stuck between the gold or bronze. What would look better in your opinion on a aztec red pignose hatch? Gold is flashy and bronze is classy? Thanks in advance and sorry for bringing back this post. Just seems the peeps in this thread know their stuff...

17x8.25 +25
215/45/17
KYB AGX shocks with RS*R drop springs, no spacers or roll, no rubbing on anything. 225 will fit up front without rubbing the struts.

Thanks! That's about as far as id have the wheels stick out looks good i looked at your pics when you posted pages back them but after i kept reading maybe i lost thought of it. any pics of these from the rear? like how both tires look on the ground? they look like they will tuck with some camber if i were to drop them... so the 225's fit up front what about the back? and how is that little bit of stretch working for you? i weekend drive my car. spirited and i want something reliable... and would rather have the tire square on the rim. still trying to figure what looks good on my bright red car. im thinking the gold.. and anyone know the cheapest place to get four of these and shipped?

I honestly don't like the stretch. The only reason I got that tire size is because I wasn't sure what I could fit up front without rubbing the strut, theres plenty of space in the back. If I could do it again, I'd get 225 front and 235 rear.

id love 245/40 all around but im not sure how that would turn out. lol and as for the 235's theyre sizes are abit off when it comes to the profile so 225/45's might be my best bet

For 225, I'd probably get a 40 profile.

with 40 profiles "When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 58.6mph (94.3km/h): 2.3% slower." and 45 profiles "When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 60.7mph (97.7km/h): 1.2% faster." using http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp i found this out... main reason why i didnt go to 235's because with 40s or 45s its off. i realy dont want a gear reduction it possible. but i guess this dont matter seeing thats comparing from the 205 profiles that came stock and if you compare from the 195's that came stock aswell 40 profiles would "When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 59.7mph (96.1km/h): 0.5% slower." and 45's would "When speedometer reads 60mph (96.6km/h) actual speed will be 61.9mph (99.7km/h): 3.2% faster." so guess it wont matter either way seeing the speedo is the same across the diffrent tire sizes anyways. pretty much this entire post was worthless lmao now that i look at it...

so you say 235 fits in the rear how bout up front too? so i can have an even rotate? and im guessing the 245's would be out of the question at least with these wheel spec's?

I'm really doubtful about 235 up front, without spacers at least. As for the wheel sizing and speedo readings, I really doubt it will make that huge of a difference. Like you said, its off by very little, its not even noticable.

Hey krash I've been looking into getting the 527's as well in the same exact size but running 225/45/17 all around but worried about the fronts because I have Megan street coilovers and upgrading to Q45 brake setup as well

with coilovers you'll have PLENTY of space. 225 ain't nothin at that point. You could probably fit a 235 up front and still have backspace, I cant say for sure though, I don't have coils.

Coilovers are pretty slim.
They'll give you a ton of room.

As long as your offset is right, 235 is going to be fine.

I had 235-40-17s on a 17x9 +15 all around and had plenty of room on the inside.

Maybe someone can help me now.

Anyone have pics of a 235-40 on a 10.5??

17x10.5 235/40 rears are 235/45

after looking into it finding 225/40/17's are pretty hard to comeby not sure why it is an odd size i guess. so im going to have to do a 235/40 or a 225/45... not sure as to what route i should take.. im planning on getting coils no before the wheels so i think inner fitment shouldn't be a problem... what about 245's or 255's in the rear for the future? im thinking of slapping them on the 9.75 wide rim as an extra set just for the rear.. and having 4 8.25's for all around regular driving.

Turns out I ran 235 40 all around on the 17x8.25 +25 and it fit with room between the struts easy I have stance coilovers on the way and I just replaced all my suspension arms so I should be able to dial in the camber and at least roll the fenders.. Any one know by chance a definite max negative camber I should go with front and rear? Being this is a weekend driven car how far is too far. I just want to make sure the tires tuck okay because obviously they are square with the wheels not stretched. And is it true to keep front and rear toe close to zero?
