Excellent question! The +25 offset shouldn't really cause much problems for your fenders besides needing the typical roll. Maybe a pull depending on how much tire and negative camber you want to run. There is a possibility that you may get some rubbing/contact between the tire and the inner wheel well though. I'd probably use a small slip-on spacer (like 5mm to 7mm) bringing the effective offset down to +18 to negate that.
The bigger issue here is whether the 9.75+25 will hit your coilovers up front. There answer to this is YES, unless you have taken precautions. Most S13 coilovers just barely clear 9.5+12's. But some coilovers have more backspace than others. I've seen 17x10+18 upfront on an S13 with Apexi coils.
There's only two sure ways to make sure wheels this wide won't hit your coilovers:
- Spacers to push the wheel away from the coilover. But this lowers the effective offset, increasing the likelihood of even more fender work and reducing the amount of rubber you can run.
- Run extended coilover brackets to 'create' more backspace between the wheel and the coilover.
To my knowledge, Megan is the only company to market extended brackets. So if you don't have Megan Streets or Tracks, you're screwed and will need to fabricate your own brackets. For this reason and this reason alone, I'm buying Megan coils over brands like Stance, PBM, Fortune Auto, or KTS.
