I'd be the market happily....anything so I dont have to go 5 lug. To me 5 lug is such a incredible waste of funds that could be going to better things. Like for instance the amount I would have spent for a 5 lug conversion without wheels, got me tein 350z inner tie rods, SPL V5 outer tie rods, and silicone steering boots. Maybe after I get 300zx brakes and get boost...I might, just might go 5 lug.

do you think there's anyway to get varrstoens that dont have a pre bored bolt pattern in them? so i could like, bore it to 4x114.3 myself? just a thought

I've already determined to go 5 lug myself. At least in the rear. The size wheel I want up front can easily be found in 4 lug. The size I want in the rear can only be found in 4 lug if I buy custom wheels like SSR or Work. So, not only am I probably gonna have mismatched wheels, but probably mismatched lug patterns as well... lol

Pretty sure Work and SSR will make custom 4 lug orders, while i don't see why you would pay 2k + for a set of wheels in 4 lug. They would be really easy to resell if you ever wanted to. I know a lot of 4 lug people that would kill for a nice set of decent offset, wide wheels.

Well, I just want 18x10.5 rears. I wouldn't need a full set of four. But I agree with you. I still wouldn't wanna spend big money on 2 custom 4 lug wheels when I can spend money on a rear 5 lug conversion and buy TONS of different 18x10 or 18x10.5 wheels for pretty cheap...

Emailed NL - got a response back.... Just pretty cookie cutter we are starting to fulfill order's now in the order they were placed, and that I will be notified via email when shipped.

However, I asked where they were in the order number, and where I placed in that line, no response to the question.

Joe,
What I am asking is if you received your non-promo wheel's and if you have started shipping to the customers on your paid order list. If so if you can ball park where I am in this order. We have been following these wheels on Nico and we are looking for updates. As you may know other vendors are also receiving your orders and have started shipping. At the end of the day those who are 7-4 months back-ordered would just like an idea of when.

Sincerely,
Kevin XXXXXX

Today

Kevin,

As you may have seen on our facebook page we received over 1100 wheels this week and have been shipping lots of wheels to customers. This is only about 10% of what we have on pre-order. We do not have a specific date for your part numbers yet but we do expect them in very soon. As soon as we have an exact shipment date you will be notified via email. We appreciate your patience and will get your order shipped ASAP.

yep the 17x 9.75 with a 7mm spacer at about -2 to -2.5 camber so that should hopefully help you all get an idea of what you need to do to camber and spacing once you get them, im gonna hopefully get tyres very soon and im pretty stoked off these best buy of the year so far

Yo! Somebody buy these! I gotta feeling the four sets for sale on EBAY are the last run of these 17x9+15 4x114.3 wheels. They used to be relatively pricey at $220(ish) per wheel, now they're like Clearance Priced at $530 shipped for a whole set!

Yeah, this post ain't about the 526's or 527's, but I started this thread for cheapskate 4 luggers, soooo.... whatever. Places to get this wheel have dried up. This is the say thing that happened to the now discontinued 4 lug 17x9 Falken Hanabi's and Axis OG Banzai's...

lol at add spacers and dial camber to fit.... tisk tisk. No spacer, neutral camber for more hook.

camber doesn't help any. Like PAHC said, why not just skip the spacer and the need for the camber altogether...

Yeah that doesn't make sense to me. Space an aggressive fitting wheel, and then just dial the camber negative to avoid fender contact. At 2.5 degrees your running on about 65% of the contact patch. Or skip the spacer run -1(stock) to -1.5 and have better contact (unless its sideways all dams day).

Tow, camber, caster...... they can all hurt a tire, just take one to be be out of spec.

Oh, it's no secret. The 17x9.75+25 527's weigh 21.4 lbs. About as much as 17x9 FN01RC's, but almost an inch wider & $100 cheaper... :naughty:

Confirmed by a vendor on the other forum...

they dont feel 21.4 lbs heavy but ay if the the manuf says so, mostly just giving you all specs on what made that wheel look like that, so you all can do whatever you want to do to get yours how you want it

im not going to touch anything till i get tyres on them, then ill fiddle with it, that set up cleared my last wheels barely so thats why its set like that...i do want -1.5 ideally but we have to see when tyres are on wont we...monday

I get what you're saying, but 21.4 lbs isn't heavy at all. The only lighter wheel in a similar size that I can think of are RPF1's at about 18 lbs. And new 17x10 RPF1's cost like $275 or something on top of the fact that they only come 5 lug...

Just checked NLMotoring's website. They're listing the 17x9.75 527's weight as 20.1 lbs! And the the 17x10 526's as 23 lbs! That is some nice news!

Plus..... NEW FINISHES!
