The safeway in Cloverly. It was on New Hampshire ave and Briggs Chaney rd. What car do you have? Maybe I've seen it. lolkrash wrote:YEASSS ANOTHER SS MEMBER! nice car man! The paint job looks great! Which Safeway did you work at?
Yea but then I would have to buy the turbo parts.GTR PrYdE wrote:You could always pay to get the dohc ka bulit for about the same as a SR...
that's just on the body, not on the trim piece (you can sort of see it in the later pics where it's black) . but yeah i don't like those trim pieces being painted the same color of the car. imo should have went with a black roof too while you were at it but it still looks good with the fresh red.White Comet wrote:looking good. a minor detail i dislike is the a pillars being painted red instead of left black. i see lots of resprays like that and i'm not feeling it at all. but it came out pretty nice

I feel the same way. I was in FL when my dad picked up the car and when I saw a picture I was like "wtf. isn't it supposed to be black?" lol. I did want a two tone but I guess my uncle was being stingy with the paint. lol But now I'm completely used to it and I guess it grew on me.m tr4nch wrote:

Ah I see, I bought mine in VA from the original owner. I remember I was going to buy a hatch with a S14 SR already swapped in it for I think it was $2500. The guy needed quick cash for school, and said he was going to hold for me over the weekend. Called him up Sunday evening and told me he sold it to someone else.Pdawg wrote:That's cool that you live in silver spring, i am in edgewater... I have a pontiac gtp though. Thanks man. lol95ka24de_zenki wrote: Cool, someone else in maryland who hasn't riced-out a 240. Way to go

i don't know anyone that hates their sr. i think you just got a mess to take care of by picking up a half done projectZOMG.SR20 wrote:DONT Go SR youll hate it
Compared to a boosted KA, yeah, you'll hate the SR. Nissan didn't bring the SR here for a reasonZOMG.SR20 wrote:DONT Go SR youll hate it
Thanks. Hm I've heard of VQ swaps but have really looked into it. Is it expensive?Fibre guy wrote:Nice choice.
There has been a lot of talk about VQ swaps... Maybe that's a choice if you don't go SR.
thats exactly what I was thinkingWhite Comet wrote:i don't know anyone that hates their sr. i think you just got a mess to take care of by picking up a half done project
I'm pretty sure KA-T is a lot more fun to drive than SR but the SR isn't a bad engine either. In the spring I plan to get a GT28R if I go SR, so that should be fun.95ka24de_zenki wrote: Compared to a boosted KA, yeah, you'll hate the SR. Nissan didn't bring the SR here for a reason
I was only joking Actually, the SR wasn't brought to america because of smog and all that other s*** But thats all beside the point. The SR is still a suck-a** motor, KA FOR LIFEWhite Comet wrote:nissan didn't use the sr not because it sucks but because it was needed for the way they were marketing the 240. and you can't compare a stock engine to a modified one
Yeah I have pics, but there not too pretty. I'll post them as soon as my sister gives me back my camera. I'm in the middle of finishing my ka-t setup so I'll post pics of that also. I might be up and running this week too much last night, hahaRamonesfreak2010 wrote:^^lol do you have any pics of your ride?
I still have the KA sitting in my shed. Maybe I'll build it in the future when I have much more experience.....and money. lol
