Went to UPS last night to pick up a few goodies I had ordered.

[x]Manifold[x]Turbo gaskets[x]Boost gauge[x]Clutch[x]Downpipe[ ]Test pipe[ ]P/S lines[ ]Mounts (maybe)[ ]Heater hoses

Ordering the rest next Friday. Tomorrow a friend and I are going to cut off the lower part of the radiator support because it is beyond rusted. Hopefully we have time to weld the "new" one before I have to go do a weigh-in for wrestling.

Is it just me or are there two bolts that hold the manifold to the turbo housing that is a PITA to take off?

Anyway, pictures tomorrow if I have time to install the new manifold.

I got an extra $575 to spend now that I got paid. Dunno how to spend it yet. I got the manifold installed.

Looks way better now.

Anyone know where I can buy the washers for the turbo lines?

Thanks guys. Well I was browing 240sxmotoring and I found some used dohc power steering lines. I talked to one of the reps and they said it came out of their formula d car. Long story short, I bought them. They cost me $45 dollars. The new ones were $350 so I saved me about $280 dollars. With that money, I bought some new turbo lines and nismo mounts.

The only thing that is left to buy is a turbo outlet and get my wiring done. I already bought my paint for the engine bay. If tomorrow goes as planned, the lower radiator support replacement will be welded in.

I need to find someone who knows body work to guide me about sanding and painting. I'm trying to do a good job even tho its my first time.

^Yup. Thanks. The plan is to have it running before the month ends. I think that is a good amount of time. Hopefully the weather stays the way its been the past couple days.

Update.

Got my package today. I was very excited when I saw the box. lol

The end is near! I just need to do the following:-Weld lower radiator support-Paint engine bay-Buy turbo outlet-Buy heater hoses-Get wiring done-Drop engine

Damn. I never thought I'd actually have a turbocharged car at my age. This was like a dream to me back when F&F first came out. haha

Almost. I just ordered the rest of the parts from Enjuku. My wiring harness is with Taylor Durdan right now. Tomorrow, I'm taking my flywheel to get resurfaced. This Thursday, I'm taking my car to my uncles body shop and work on it Friday and Saturday. I'm going to get my radiator support welded there too. Hes going to let me prep and paint the bay there and he will provide me with some materials.

If all goes as planned, I'll be dropping that engine next weekend.

^Thanks a lot man. I wish I had the skills to build an engine, but unfortunately I don't. lol If you want a good paying job, try applying at sears as a "Sales associate (100% commissioned)". It paid better than my last job and has been funding this project since day 1.

Heres another small update: I took my car to my uncles body shop. Hes giving me space to work on my radiator support and paint my engine bay. I got my order from enjuku racing and should be receiving another one tomorrow or Wednesday. I managed to drill through the welds on the replacement radiator support and take it off. I'm in the process of doing the same thing to the support on my car. I'll be going back to the shop tomorrow through Thursday to work as much as I can. I'll let the pics do the talking. Btw, this is my first time doing any kind of body work. My uncle is guiding me and telling me what to do.

Bonus pictures!

Oh yea... I found out those are S14 power steering lines. They didn't specify that. They said "they should work on a s13". Can anyone confirm this?

Do the following:1) Lay down on the ground and look under your bumper. lol2) Remove the 4 plastic screws or whatever they are from the radiator support3)Above that should be another 4 you remove.4)Open your hood and there will be 4 bolts right in front of you. 2 on the left and 2 on the right. Remove those and your done.

Don't forget to disconnect the turn signals. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

A sales associate is someone who works in like the appliances or electronics department that sells washers/dryers/tvs. Thats what I do. lol

But yea thanks for the nice words. lol I should have more updates this Saturday.

There are spot welds holding it on. Drill those out. They make a special drill bit for drilling spot welds if you want.
