That sucks your dealing with rust man at least it doesn't look too bad. Is the radiator support the only place it needs repaired?Project is coming along nicely your parts collection is getting beast. Keep up the good work can't wait till you drop the engine in and turn it over.

Yea it bolts up to the stock turbo. Its Megan Racing. I would have worked at Sears Auto but I'm not 18. lol Theres a guy with a turboed kouki that works there Saturdays.

Well the radiator support and theres a bit of rust on the strut towers. Pretty common. But hopefully the radiator support gets welded on today!

I got my steering bushing in the mail today. I'm kind of scared of installing it. lol

I was writing a paragraph when all of a sudden my computer shut off so I'm gonna make this simple. My uncle started to weld the support but then the machine started acting up so he couldn't finish yesterday. Today he wasn't there so I just took off the fenders, hood, and taped up my lights. Yesterday, I also taped up all the electrical stuff and gave the bay a good power wash. I also received my resurfaced flywheel and I'm in the process of installing my clutch. I also got a couple more parts and I should be receiving my harness this week.

Don't mind my sloppy covering. haha I just wanted to make sure no water got on anything whatsoever. =P I also have a steering bushing that is not pictures.

More updates Saturday.

Trust me. I regret getting new paint. I rushed into buying a 240. I still didn't know much about them. Nothing I can do now except taking it as a lesson learned.

It chipped when I was putting the new throwout bearing on. Anyway, I used the one off my KA transmission. They're identical.

Lots of updates. Pics tonight when I get home from work.

Ok so I have sooooo many pics I'm uploading on my flickr and photobucket right now. I will have them up tonight. I have a few questions tho.

Vacuum lines. I've been researching these for a few days now and I think I got it. I want someone to verify this for me.

I don't have the charcoal canister anymore. I read just to cap the top right port and bottom port that are above and underneath the throttle body. I have an aftermarket manifold so I dont have the EAI valve no more which means I don't have the boost pressure solenoid nor the EAI control solenoid. Can I run my vacuum lines like this?????

Sorry for my POOR MS paint skills.

Also for the oil catch can, where do is connect it to? It has two ports and I'm pretty sure one of them goes to where the factory catch can was connected to. Help me out.

Teaser pic.

Thanks. It looks a lot more complete now. Hopefully I can finish it this Monday coming up. But yea, I wonder why I haven't seen you around. We both live in SS. lol

mobile pic mmm very oem. We did all that above plus everything underneath the car (transmission, driveshaft, downpipe, etc.) in about 4-5 hours.

Sooooooooooooo I got her running!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first it would crank but not start. First thing that came to mind that I've read a lot from peoples experience was getting the fuel lines reversed. So I disconnected the feed line and cranked the car and nothing came out. Took out the return line and BAM a whole bunch of gas came out. lol I still have to clean the wiring and put my bumper back on.

Phuck pics. I got a vid. http://www.flickr.com/photos/4...00641 <----Vid

What happened to KA-T?

So I have/had a few leaks. First was power steering. Fixed. Next was one of the turbo lines. Fixed. Now I think I have a leak at the end of the transmission where the driveshaft is inserted. Not sure but I'm going to jack up the car tomorrow and check it out. I went out for a test drive and all I got to say is WOW. If this is fast, I can't imagine how fast its gonna be when I upgrade to a GT28R.
