yes, well technically, yes. an individual named D-roll had tried the puppy one (the non GT one) on his 2.5 and had yielded satisfactory results.

you honestly haven't been keeping up with any of this have you?

and i myself am getting pretty close to jumping in on this... unless a GB price can drop it lower than $340 (that's including shipping)

You sir, are a genius. I don't think I want to wait for the GB lol...

[edit]

They are, however, overcharging for taxes... No matter how I crunch the numbers it's always over 8%... WTF!? How does one beat the highest sales tax in the country? Unless of course... They're using the most expensive county rate (9.25%)... OR they're taxing the shipping and handling...

[edit]

Comes out to $367.50 (shipping and tax)

Not all states get taxed on that...

Check reseller ratings b4 you buy from a no-name online retailer..

It came out to 7.75% but meh... You're right about the checking though but this is not a big purchase to me and it looked legit (first impressions ). So, I don't know...

I just spoke to Brent at "Our Deals Rock!" and asked if a GB price was available. He said he could take $10.00 off and throw in a shirt hoodie. I dont think thats a big improvement but at least every bit helps. Any one else willing to try and see if they can get a better deal?

Ship to da 'Burgh is only 11.49 no tax to PA...but I ain't pulling the trigger. I just am still quite skeptical.

JUst spoke to Brent and he is going to emailing me the code for the discount as soon as he gets it. I'll post it up as soon as i receive it.

As for you crayzitalian3, I asked about applying the discount to your purchase but he wasn't sure if that was possible but that he would find out. I'll let you know his responce.

yo thanks JL

i appreciate that man

did he say when they will ship out because he said that they aren't even at the store yet when i called over there or something similar to that. he said it wasn't out yet or something and they will be receiving them soon?

i forgot, either way don't let this opportunity slip through this is probably the cheapest we will find it anywhere and if the GB works, we will get a shirt guys.

About the throttle being unlocked to 100% power from whatever it currently is set to from the factory... How would this help? (Im speaking from a 3.5 view)

I've taken off my vdc and have dragged with a few of my friends with smaller, 4 cylinder 200hp cars. They always take off faster than I do, they will have maybe a car length in 1st gear or 2nd. This is because 1) I suck at launching and 2) When i launch all i see is smoke. When I hit the throttle with no VDC and release the clutch, I will ALWAYS get tire spinning. I'll even spin my tires at 6k RPM until i switch into 2nd gear. So if i tuned my throttle input to 100%, wouldnt that = more burnouts?!

Cue me in!

maybe try to instead of slammin the pedal down to the floor, ease into it, because when you slam it your sending all the power there at once, if you ease into it it'll get there at a slower rate but you won't have wheel spin which might result in a better launch

im not sure im just guessing

in regards to release, i spoke with a rep from bullydog who mentioned sometime along mid-march for release... and i suppose he's the most credible source at this point.

in any case, i pre-ordered mine. the rep from the previous website with the cheap deal claims that he already has approximately 30 orders in (i'm sure it's not just nico that's in on this) and besides, since they don't authorize and charge till shipment is ready, i suppose i can cancel if it takes too long or what not...

we have talked about the best way to launch before in a previouse post but i dont feel like looking for it..well i have gotten way better now i dont have any spin at all. first i would say take the rpms to about 2,500 to 3,000 and let go of the clutch while keeping the gas at the same level. but dont just fully let go of the clutch, (u have to praitice this) let it go quickly, with some time u'll know exactly how to let it go. do it so u take off fast but with no tire spin. once u catch a good grip, step on the gas hard.

You shouldnt be charged for something until it ships IMO.

Make sure you guys did your homework on this seller before you are all sending him hundreds without the product even being released! The email I see is an aol email (??) and I dont see any physical address for their place of business.

Im not trying to blow this up for you guys, but make sure you have your eyes open and are using a CREDIT CARD (not a debit card) for all online purchaces!
