Erm...I love my iPhone. One of the best purchases I've made in a while!I've heard that Dynolicious is incredible. I got one of the free apps ("PocketDyno") but it didn't work nearly as well...

Pocket dyno, im gonna check it out now for sheets and giggles

The only complaint i have about the iphone is well i have a bunch butbattery life sucks 5 hours of use, so if i go the bar it will be dead by the time i leave.

So either i walk home or ask the bartender to charge it for me

Pure misinformation, dude. It's a smartphone so of course it has a shortened battery life. Most of the people complaining about the iPhone's battery life are folks who have never owned a smartphone before. Sure, it'll be a bit more of a drain on the battery than a BBerry, but look at the feature-set of the iPhone! I frequently get over two days of solid use out of my 8gig 3G before I have to recharge the battery.

On that note...I don't know if Dynolicious is this way, but for Pocket Dyno to be accurate you MUST be on a flat road. That might be a consideration for you, depending on how hilly it is where you live...

Oh I'm not saying the iPhone is bad cause it isn't. It's awesome I got it for my girlfriend. I thought you didn't have either the iphone or itouch so that's why I said to get the itouch

Are you calling me out lol

For discussion sake yes this is my first smart phone... Im not sure if im complaining or stating a fact. I get about 5 hours of use out of the battery. But i would not say i am a normal phone user. I would say i send and receive anywhere between 200 to 400 texts on a slow day. if there is a party or something that night, i would say 500 plus. yes i am addicted. Also i play youtube videos all the time. i beat the hell out of my phone. Depending on where i am i use pandora radio, that drains the battery. Playing vs. games.

Ive had the phone for about 3 months now, and since day one my battery life has been like this. i have 2 friends that have the iphone and they get similar battery life.

crayzitalian3 wrote:i have ordered it several days ago

did anyone get a notification email about it being shipped out yet, i didn't get anything, but i was told we should get it either the end of this week or week after. .. ... .... I hope so man i want this so bad , i want to see how much potential these little 2.5ers have yo.

just spoke to Karl from Bullydog and this is the information he left me with

"Yes actually the Diesels started shipping to warehouses (drop ships if requested) at the beginning of this week. So the GT Gases should not be far behind at all, a few weeks I would think. If you check back in a couple of weeks I may have a approx date for you."
Your first entry was back on 03/2/2009.......exactly a month ago and he is still telling you i could be ANOTHER couple of weeks?

And they already billed your cc/debit/paypal/w/e you paid with?

TBH I'm glad I waited to buy this now cause if they are saying the product is already out there and charging people for it's really weird. Bullydog even has on their websites updates that have been released for the Power Pup(not sure if it's specifically for the one everyone is trying to buy but on the page with the one for our cars)

And my iPhone can last maybe a full day without being charged, but that's because I choose to have it that way. 3g, bluetooth, wifi, and Pushed emails are 75% of my battery life. But I don't want to have to turn each and everyone of them on anytime i want to connect to something so not complaining. Everyone in my department has bought one and when an email to the group goes out it's like a retarded symphony when all the sounds going off haha.

Thanks big time for the PDF on the TDGT. Lots of really good info.

p.s. As soon as I get some decent weather I will post a pic of my A/C 3.5SE. I loved my Slate 2.5S but this Azure Blue 3.5 is my keeper.

Well I will be a guinea pig and test this PowerPup for everyone. Currently they don't have a tune for my car (09 Coupe ZN66A 2.5L). They have the ZN55A (3.5L) but not mine. I sent them a dump of my ECU though.

Currently they are working on it. I have access to a dyno and will post before and after of the PowerPup. My car is stock (No intake, no exhaust or other mods to do with HP). This should be a good baseline for anyone considering getting this.

*Waits* -- They estimated 1-2 weeks, so we'll see.

It's stick. .

Yeah I'll post a dyno when I do it stock. Possibly tomorrow... my friend has dyno time tomorrow for his Civic Del Sol. I'll see if I can squeeze in 3 quick runs to get a stock number. If not I'll post when everything is here and I do my dyno time.

Haha!

ZN66A is the ECU/ROM Code I believe. For example, each car made is sent out with different ECU's based on the following:

- Country of origin.- Changes for Emissions.- Auto/CVT / 6 Speed

And so on...

A dump is sort of a backup. In this case the PowerPup reads and backs up the ECU in the car. You can then transfer this backup binary to your computer. It's just a binary image of the ECU program/code the ECU is running. It will let them take a look at my ECU and make it compatible with their product. I know other users have run into the same issue with this.

Took a quick read through the post, and on JEG's, and I have a question. The triple tuner says it will show you the air/fuel ratio, but does it actually allow you to adjust the air/fuel ratio? If I missed a post let me know.

Just from what I have read, this is key for our engines to take an advantage of our air intakes. In many of the article I have read, we can get 15whp from a retune and double the 6-7whp from our intakes to about 14-15whp as well. Something to do with the highly effecient feedback loop...etc. Regardless, this I know has been discussed elsewhere.

Also, could you Sunday drivers from CT please stay out of NYC and north Jersey? If you CT drivers cause any more damage to my car I will have a "breaking news" worthy road rage event...(just need to vent)

I think that's the original one the topic was created for but mcheddi found the Triple Dog GT one that most of us are SO patiently waiting for. http://www.ourdealsrock.net/931-40410.aspxMore expensive now but still well worth it.
