Or, has anyone actually gotten their tuner in yet?

I know a few people said it would take a week, then said it would take another week after that. Does anyone actually have their hands on one from ourdeals?

Just talked to a rep at Bully Dog and she said it looks like a 1-2 month wait till they are even released

Yes, I have the Bulldog Power Pup and have no complaints about it. I did previously post in this thread after I installed and tuned it. My gas mileage has increased and the performace is to my liking. No I havent gotten it dynoed, no time for that right now.

I would be careful with the rev limiter because the A/C's have weak valve springs. Which is why they redline so low already. I dont think i would put mine much about 6500 on a 2.5.

No i think with the power pup you could only remove the rev limiter, speed limiter, and advance the timing and it has 2 performance tunes if im not mistaken and read and erase diagnostic codes. No where near as many things as the GT can do.

remember the evo is turbod a turbod car takes an ecu tune alot better than a NA car. i just got my jetta chipped and its a HUGE difference. id like to know how big of a difference it is for the 2.5 hopefully instead of 8.8 0-60's maybe youd be in the 7.8 if u have the cvt. ecu tuning for NA cars- price>gainsecu tuning for Turbo cars- Price<Gainimo

yes with a mt.the cvt's parasitic loss is pretty bad.. its only meant for economy and efficiency not performance.

my cvt with just an intake and a stillen crankshaft pulley hits 7.34 0-60, i posted up pics from my dynolicious app in my thread in the engine section.

the times are legit and once my tires and rims are on, i should be pulling a little bit quicker, and once this thing comes through im hoping for high 6's

Crazy, what iPhone app is that? Been looking at some but none seem to be decent enough to buy.

its called Dynolicious, its proven to be a great app, they had a comparison with this and the Gtech (which is a high end performance reader device) and the Dynolicious app was more on the dot then the Gtech was. Dynolicious is $13 and Gtech is $250-300 (or something like that)

Yo crazy, ill play devils advocate here

How much does the iphone cost. hmm seems about the same price. haha

My argument is truely flawed though cuz the iphone does so much more.

I assume i will be purchasing dynolicious, but not until i am able to drive.

just spoke to Karl from Bullydog and this is the information he left me with

"Yes actually the Diesels started shipping to warehouses (drop ships if requested) at the beginning of this week. So the GT Gases should not be far behind at all, a few weeks I would think. If you check back in a couple of weeks I may have a approx date for you."

i am very cheap, frugal or cheap im not sure which one... I paid 200 for my 3g 8 gig iphone. i would have paid 3 times that. it never leaves my side. I love it. Its the best when you are at a bar and some drunk @ss is talking nonsense. I say lets see what google has to say about that.

Also the apps are crazy. i got a beer pong app, i spend many hours challenging people at bars.

i can surf the forum and post if i want.
