Lager

I'm definitely gonna get on decks this time-- gonna have a lot of ladies there that need some music to dance too--

Plus my bud's friend is a freaking DnB spitter... that's gonna be hot.

Hi guys.. Thank you very much for considering us on this group buy, we appreciate your support, and love to get you guys what you're looking for.

Unfortunately in regards to this Bully Dog product, we haven't done much with them on the truck side in the past couple of years, and really haven't had a chance to evaluate or review their new line of Nissan Tuners, including both the Power Pup and Triple Dog Gauge Tuner.

We're honestly a little skeptical to their (reported) gains of 35hp, and would really be uncomfortable selling you a product like this without reviewing it. Knowing some of you guys who love to be on the bleeding edge of technology will scoop one up and give it a run through should be some interesting info.

We are working on some different tuning options for both the 2.5L and 3.5L, but I don't have a timeline on that as of yet..

It can be found for cheaper on the net than the pricing proposed to us, but as always shopping with a reputable company makes life a lot easier in the long run, even if it's for paying a couple of bucks more for that security. I don't have any experience with the other company mentioned, I would hope someone has done business with them and/or knows they have the resources to support the customer service needed for an effective group buy.

Ok I see, well I'll tell tyler to get in contact with the other company to see if they can get the GB going for here. 125$ under MSRP is too nice to pass for this (if we can get 25 people on the GB lol)

Hey, Mehdi heddi hi medhi hiney ho, I'm still in...but I better see a gain (obviously, not a pseudo gain like a K&N drop in (you know who you are)...is there a 30 day trial?

The more I look at this, the more I think its snake oil...Its a VQ engine...sum-a-b****es a brutal to hack...6 major inputs vs 2 to 3 on domestics...

I think Technosquare would have been all over this already..and they flash the ECU, but they are quick to get it back....

But, hey I could be wrong.

No bully dog is a very respected player in this field. check this out:

Bully Dog Nissan Downloaders now available through Nissan Motorsports at your local Nissan Dealer

Over the last few years Bully Dog Technologies has pushed the envelope with product design, function and quality as well as with their cutting edge marketing and sales programs. All of these combined has lead to an announcement that the company is very proud of. Their Nissan Power Pup downloader for Nissan Titan and Armadas as well as the Infinity QX56 is now being offered by Nissan Motorsports through Nissan dealerships across the country.

“This relationship is very exciting for us, Nissan Motorsports selects only the best products to be included in it’s catalog and offered through Nissan dealers. I am very proud of our team for the things we have accomplished in recent years, this is a perfect example of their talent and dedication” stated Daryl Klassen, COO of Bully Dog Technologies.

"I want to make it VERY clear here that Bully Dog did not pay a single cent to anyone to make this happen, Nissan approached Bully Dog! They wanted to recieve a product for their evaluation, the product they recieved is the same product available anywhere else. They had it for a few months before they ever contacted Bully Dog again. There was no coaching, no nothing."

so there you go NISMO and BullyDog hand in hand sitting in a tree lol

My goal is 300hp NA, and with intake, exhaust, and now underdrive pulley, I think this may be the thing to get me to that goal if the estimated numbers are true. I just wish one of us already had it and could see how much of a difference it would really make. That being said, if it was pretty much guaranteed I could see a 10 - 20 hp increase, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

BTW.. from what I saw in some of the documentation, it looks like this unit is more of a permanent addition? (Not something you just plug in, make changes, and remove.) Am I correct, or did I mis-read? I'm not a huge fan of the thought of having it always there (where to put it? doesn't look factory), but I'd deal with it if it worked

So... When's this happening? I'm really psyched. I'm buying it even without the beefed up gains and the lady at JEGS just cancelled my orders! Some I'm down for the group buy! RAWR!!!!!!!!

(double post for the exposure WAHAHA!)

I was thinking the same thing but i think if its permanent then i would try and mount it in that little storage infront of the shifter. And that way it would be discrete when i wanted it to be and there when i needed it.

On the pdf it doesnt specify whether its the coupe or sedan but since they have the same internals i would think it would work for both.

So since it's being accepted and sold through Nissan, means it won't void our warranty now.....Correct?

Any update on the lower price one mcheddadi?

Just so you guys know, I think there should be a significantly lower price than what is being quoted...

I think that you should find a NICO sponsor that sells this, and pursue them..

The way these are sold, the seller could possibly not even take delivery of the part and it will be drop shipped from the factory! Contact the NICO Sponsors!

LBC has a point. You guys should find NICO sponsors that can do this GB and past the saving onto you guys instead into their pockets

Just for everyone's knowledge...

Just because Nissan endorses or sells something does not mean it will not void your warranty. Take for example NISMO parts...Many of the parts that NISMO produces will void the factory warranty.

I know for a fact that this for the 2.5s is going to be monumental the displacment of the engine alone will make for good increases in power I think the biggest factor here is going to be the messing to much with the rev limiter when you have a small engine with such a long stroke over reving would be interesting to say the least, running this car tuned for higher octane gas will give it a nice little boost. But most of the power will come from removing the throttle limiter meaning foot to the floor 100% throttle. So who ever the tuner comes from it will be a great addition.

Does that hold true even if one bought the NISMO 350Z? I would think that would be an exception unless it's like the buying a 1969 chevelle from the factory. If you ought that car with the 396 option, there was no warranty and if you blew up the car /motor you were out $1500.00
