This is why this thread needs to be locked to many noobs. That has nothing to do with cut springs. Thats a replacement lowering spring. Nothing unsafe about it. It will just end up blowing out your stock shocks after a while. This is like one big cesspool of misinformation.Kelbizzle wrote:This is the crap I just replaced with coilovers. It looked unsafe to me. The damn spring on the tool chest was almost bigger.
^^^ AgreedCoilovers FTW, even if you have to wait til you can afford them. Let's not go on cut springs nowKyuusei wrote:Simplest advice is often the best...

How are they better than stock? Cuz the car looks better? Most parts put onto a car that just improve looks and don't improve performance are ricer parts. YOU ARE A RICER!!! Its ok though you'll grow out of it, I remember being young foolish and stupid, thinkin why buy coilovers when you cut springs, then I found out about money, and bought a legit suspension.motoman399 wrote:
well no s*** coilovers are better. nobody said that cut springs were superior to anything except stock. so gtfo

So he posts pics of my car cuz my bumper got loose from a road trip and slidin, while here is his car LMFAO!!!
What would be even funnier is if it was his cut springs' fault haha
