I'd have been hard pressed to pull off such a flawless chuki front for the sil-front, at least at first, but this is a top-notch build.

Paintwork on all the parts is phenomenal.

Lol, if its 16 gauge steel it wont be that much heavier. With the same piping setup but with aluminum... probably saves no more than 5lbs. I think it makes it look sick and BEEFY. This thread is AMAZING I pretty much agree with everyone here thats left a reply! One of the best builds ive seen yet.

KEEP IT UP!

16 gauge is correct! Yea, not much heavier. Plus I'm just welding with a gasless "flux" mig welder. Hard to find aluminum wire flux core. So went this route. I kinda like the industrial look! Thanks for the props!

Yea, sold them for some cash. I'll pick something up later on. I'm gonna eventually go wide fenders so, i'll need a lower offset anyways.

UPDATE:So just doing little things here and there with the little time i have after work. Like i said, i dont really work on it unless its my day off. But since Golden Gardens meet is coming up quick on the 28th... want it done!

So hoses are hooked up for heater core, power steering lines were tweaked and hooked up. Intercooler piping is all done, check for leaks.. passed with flying colors. Hooked up intake etc.

All thats left is to install my clutch pedal and clutch master cylinder, wire it to the chassis harness... driveline and exhaust! Thats it!

Looking wholeHow I like it... simply clean. Haha, i like how the intercooler is about the same size as my daughter.. Thinking about gettin a res or test pipeCarbon wrapped goodnessALMOST THERE!

My friend that i bought my car off of has a rb26 with this http://www.nengun.com/sard/torque-control-valve I get the concept of it and it all makes sense, lil expensive but hey I noticed you pick quality over price. The only problem is he said it took like a month to get it and as I see you are runnin out of time. I am prolly getting one, see how it works.

Nice find my friend. I'm gonna install my stock cat for emissions. But this is def. something that i'm gonna have to try out. Let me know when you get yours. Tell me if you notice a difference!

Yup, on the last update... with the picture of the bumper support, and the part i cut out of it, it says "cutting the bumper support" lol, you can tell who reads and who just looks at pics! haha its cool though. I understand.

you should get a test pipe(thats what iam running) here there is emmisions inspection but i know a mechanic here in town that will pass me anyway for an extra $20.00 its worth it to run a true 3 inch exhaust. or you can gut youre stocker and put the test pipe in it..

also on youre aftermarket dumppipe.. mine didnt fit either(the wastegate pipe hit the steering rack) so iam taking it to my mechanic to weld a reroute(for the 2nd time)

since you have a welder on hand its a good idea to just cut and reroute the wastegate pipe to the other side of the bung. the dived tubes i hear increase turbo spool(thats why iam giving it a try)....

I might try that... for now I'm gonna concentrate on getting this thing fired up!

So got a lot of good info, thanks to everyone including highfiv5. I looked all over for that link btw! Thanks!

Besides wiring, got everything underneath situated. Drive shaft fit perfect, exhaust fit nice as well. The downpipe was nice and close to the body, but made the catback close as well. We'll see if the engine movement causes contact. Oh and my skirts came in!Pics:DownpipeUsing stock cat for nowcatbackdelicious...Forgot to upload pics of the skirts.... doing this all from my phone lol. Ill get it done tomorrow! Hopefully start it up as well

I love carbon wrapped exhausts. Perfect exhaust to pull off the "clean street car" look.

Nico needs more builds of this caliber.

well i got it on the car(needs a little modification) started with this..

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...NX:IT

and after banging it for a while( the wastegate pipe was in the way).then took it to my good friend at nissan(the first time it didnt turn out right. 2nd time looked better.

http://i495.photobucket.com/al...3.jpg

http://i495.photobucket.com/al...2.jpg

http://i495.photobucket.com/al...1.jpg

the o2 sensor pits perfectlyhttp://i495.photobucket.com/al...4.jpg

http://i495.photobucket.com/al...5.jpg

and finally in the car. there is proper clearance to the downpipe even though it is shorter than stock

http://i495.photobucket.com/al...6.jpg

http://i495.photobucket.com/al...7.jpg

there is a very noticable difference between this and the stocker. the turbo does spool up faster. i know you want to get it started(so do i) but this is doable with the engine in the car. and you will be satisfied...
