Lol, if its 16 gauge steel it wont be that much heavier. With the same piping setup but with aluminum... probably saves no more than 5lbs. I think it makes it look sick and BEEFY. This thread is AMAZING I pretty much agree with everyone here thats left a reply! One of the best builds ive seen yet.Lonismos14 wrote:Why not aluminum piping. i bet thats pretty heavy.
16 gauge is correct! Yea, not much heavier. Plus I'm just welding with a gasless "flux" mig welder. Hard to find aluminum wire flux core. So went this route. I kinda like the industrial look! Thanks for the props!RB25S14Whaa wrote:

KEEP IT UP!
Yea, sold them for some cash. I'll pick something up later on. I'm gonna eventually go wide fenders so, i'll need a lower offset anyways.initial_jc wrote:Nice grill; Did you switched the wheels out?
Dont let these scrubs choose for you
Nice find my friend. I'm gonna install my stock cat for emissions. But this is def. something that i'm gonna have to try out. Let me know when you get yours. Tell me if you notice a difference!kamikazeee wrote:My friend that i bought my car off of has a rb26 with this http://www.nengun.com/sard/torque-control-valve I get the concept of it and it all makes sense, lil expensive but hey I noticed you pick quality over price. The only problem is he said it took like a month to get it and as I see you are runnin out of time. I am prolly getting one, see how it works.
Yup, on the last update... with the picture of the bumper support, and the part i cut out of it, it says "cutting the bumper support" lol, you can tell who reads and who just looks at pics! haha its cool though. I understand.J14cm7 wrote:It looks like he cut the backside of the bumper support off? I may be wrong but it appears that way
I might try that... for now I'm gonna concentrate on getting this thing fired up!supersayianjim wrote:you should get a test pipe(thats what iam running) here there is emmisions inspection but i know a mechanic here in town that will pass me anyway for an extra $20.00 its worth it to run a true 3 inch exhaust. or you can gut youre stocker and put the test pipe in it..
also on youre aftermarket dumppipe.. mine didnt fit either(the wastegate pipe hit the steering rack) so iam taking it to my mechanic to weld a reroute(for the 2nd time)
since you have a welder on hand its a good idea to just cut and reroute the wastegate pipe to the other side of the bung. the dived tubes i hear increase turbo spool(thats why iam giving it a try)....

Nico needs more builds of this caliber.
