Well, I'm going to say it. Don't ask why, and I'm sure someone will say something about it but...

I like the wheels. Keep them.

[QUOTE=CA18Magic]Couple more things done. Drained diff, new royal purple 80w-90 gear oil. Diff was installed as well! And i lucked out with the drive shaft. Apparently, the driveshaft that i had purchased earlier in the build was an abs driveshaft. Which is exactly what i need since the j30 diff is about 1/4" longer. Def.

SO YOURE SAYING I NEED A DIFFERENT DRIVESHAFT IF IAM GOING TO USE A J-30 DIFF?? IAM CURRENTLY USING A 5 SPD (FRONT) AUTO REAR) DRIVE SHAFT

Heck yea!Small update before next weeks crunch time! Here are a few pics, got my e-brake all done up. Just reused the oem brackets to hold them in place. The mounting brackets that came with it didnt really help me at all. Also got my front 5 lugs in...

Yeah, that one 1/4th inch is def an issue.

And finally finished the rear brake setup. E-Brake is fully functional, ss brake lines are installed, rear calipers in place.

There isnt any bounce. Usually bounce comes from bad shocks. The "rebound".Got a bit done today! Def. crunch time before GG.

It is looking amazing bro! I've had an RB20 swap three feet to the right of its home for about a year. I finally have the funds for the parts needed to make it happen! I'm waiting on a clutch and elbow before I can drop it in.Did you have any clearance issues with your front sway bar? I'm using the R32 x-member, and I've heard that can be an issue.Any tips I need to glean before sliding mine into place?

I'm very impressed with your progress and quality of work. I wish I could say mine was similar. Time and Money...

Thanks guys, as for the stock manifold... gonna rock it for a bit. Not many choices (price wise) that have caught my attention yet. I'm not sure about that manifold... looks ok?

Thanks man, yea.. i had to swap back to stock turbo elbow. Wouldnt clear the steering shaft.

So got all the wiring hooked up and in place all clean. Radiator and hoses are installed. Fuel lines, power steering, new brake master cylinder is in. Almost there!

Test fitted the entire front end, ahhh... fits like a glove. I love OEM.

2.5 Aluminized steel tubing for my intercooler. Gonna get that started tomorrow

Yeah, the bypass part of the elbow didnt clear. Using Top hat mounts, they fit nice, just a b**** to get it to sit.

UPDATE:

Cant believe my 5 days off are up!? Oh well, i still have 4 days off total.. before GG. So its getting pretty close. Still have to finish up some wiring (gauges, fan relay, chassis plugs) and fab up the intercooler piping. Also gotta get the drive shaft in as well as the down/pipe and exhaust.

Oh, as for the down pipe? Fits perfectly, even uses stock mount on the transmission. +1Today got a bit more done, cut the bumper support as well as the bumper. Everything looks good so far!

Time to make room for the intercoolerMock upCutting the bumper supportOne of the brackets i fabbed up from some spare tubingPerfectLowered the front a bitUh son! Silvia in yo face!
