I like the ports for the fuel cell but maybe just one and i like the reverse lights next to the license. That looks better than on the back. The vents would really look good if they followed the line of the back bumper instead of just being semicircles. The project looks great by the way. One of a kind for sure!

yeah, i also agree, i think the lights look better near the plate, sometimes i just do things to get feed back, helps me make better decisions, I like my vents that shape cause it kinda goes with the cars over all shape(from the back)...look at the last few pics i put up......now look at the rear over fender, see how it rounds....the vents do follow that shape almost to a T.. .....and i've never seen just one port hole, always two...how come there's two anyway? ...i like the two though, it keeps things evenly balanced

THANKS AGAIN FOR THE KIND WORDS!

i like the reverse lights wired into the existing lights idea. using LEDs or whatever. thatd be more sleek, imo.

i say just get a nice nissan emblem and slap that super in the middle.

I'm not sure, but I think the fuel cell ports are designed in pairs to allow gas to escape as you fill the cell.

makeSX........i like that you are making your own stuff, i like seeing other peoples cars and their ideas, as for mine......i'm trying to keep it as much as nissan as i can, stuff like the motor, tails are from a nissan skyline and my front lights will also be from a nissan, prolly HIDs but i'm going to make it where i can change back and forth easily from the flip ups(sleepy eyes ) to the Ab-flug style lights, i like them both....as far as the back lights, i really like my R33 tails.

I know alot of you might not agree but i find this light setup to be very sexy! I might not do both like i just said but i might do this or sleepy eyed using these lights.....dunno though....just ideas at this time.

Oy yeah....forgot to mention, I'm not going to relocate my trunk line, he said it would be like building a dam.....the water runs off the top of the car, down the back and all the way out where the trunk is, so we came up with a better idea, make the trunk corners rounded to better fit the cars exterior(tail lights, exhaust holes, hell even the whole side of the car)......i think it looks better ......so i was bored the other day and went up to the shop to make some cut-out vents to tape on my car to get a better look........these vents i made too wide, i think.....would look better if they didn't go so far around the side of the back bumper(more like my photoshop vents)

come on...most of you know me by now, can't do anything without photochopping it....lol

see the round hatch corners, and the usual, chopped top, lowered, filled in the different colored fiberglass near the lights, ect...

side view...like i said, i think it'll look better if it didn't come around as far...

this is a bad photochop(like any of the other ones were good..lol)

Hmm something's still not right though... doesn't look refined enough, in a way still looks tacky and yet plain... needs more ideas/brainstorming.. take your time make it ferrari lambo awesome.

Also for the lights WHAT I WANT and really want, are veilside's flushlight kit, there's a few threads I created on this forum about it you can check it out... too lazy to search now, I'm on my TV computer and it makes me lazy to browse internet.

glass is always full!

but seriouslyits going to crack. Granted, its not going ot break into pieces, but you WILL see stress cracks almost instantly with that much FRP everywhere joining together panels, that are made to flex, but not able to because they are solid.ever seen molded on rear overfenders?same deal

I have to agree, I've always wondered how it things with this much frp hold up without visible lines and cracks?

Projects coming along great though, btw.

I have to give you my opinion on this. I like everything that you are doing to the car Except the chopped top. Its a great idea but with the widebody it just looks like something fell on the top of the car. It just makes the car look too wide and low. +10000000 for having the balls to do it though. I just had to get that out because i think it is an amazing build but i wanted your input on my thoughts.

I really like the lip idea though. Im trying to find something like that for my car. Also great choice on rounding the corners of the hatch.

i was stoned and thought he was relocating his pipes there haha. the back is just too busy for me and the chopped top just looks out of place. it will look to gaudy for me.

i don't think so, i think the back is done...when i look at the pic without the car painted, yeah...it does look plain....but when i look at it with paint, i don't feel that way.

for example

i can't tell you it's not......i can tell you i plan on doing and buying everything i can to stiffen up the car, plus my body man knows what he's doing, he does reinvorce the areas that need it.....he explained the right ways and what most people do when doing fiberglass work......he knows his ****, but like i said, i can't say 100% that it's going to be show quality for ever.

i like low and wide, thats what every super car has in common, this may not be a super car to you ,but when it's done......it will to me

you honestly think this looks better not chopped?cool if you do but i don't.

as far as the rear lip, i'll be selling them so if you or anyone wants one when there done.....just let me know

OK....now thats that out of the way, now time for an update........i told you he's been working on the front bumper......i was up there sat and he had the vents in and a thin layer of glass on the outside, he still has to take the bumper off and reinforce the inside before he can trim and finish them

and i also made the rear vents more narrower so they looked better from a side view

Well I love the front to be honest, it's working it's way. Maybe expanding the doors instead of having an open rear vent... kind of like a ferrari f50 or some other older ferraris with widened doors... as opposed to a non functional rear hole... and to make the front wideness flow to the back..

but the rear arches and rear end still hmm feel mysterious to me.. needs more work.

I am none the less excited to see updates Keep it up :D

If all is done and done, replicas of the completed kit would SO rock and im sure people would buy them

For some inspiration

Like I said those dutch, uk, german and swede s chassis owners are out of their minds, bad *** projects to the bone compared to any projects we have in the western American hemisphere.

I only don't dig the roof scoop haha

" non functional rear hole"......it will be functional......may be over done but I'm not building a all out track car like you posted.....don't get me wrong, that car is bad ***!!.....but it's not what i'm trying to do......there's things i'm doing to the car i haven't posted yet.....or gone in to detail about......but you'll have to stay tuned to find out what

to make those door wider to fit the front and back fenders would be alot of time and money, not to say i haven't all ready spent too much money but since he works on my car only so often.......i'd rather spend the time and money else where....but i did give that some thought when i started out......(when i was a lad)..lol....as always...good to hear from you guys!

For a show car, I think it's going to be the $hit. I've dug Jacquemond stuff ever since I saw my first wide body 180 back about 10 years ago.

Keep up the post.

Also, when are you gonna start the roof chop? I've also wanted to do that since I saw that Ikeya Formula car. Are you keeping the stock glass and just cutting it? I think the Ikeya car has flat plexi on it, so it looks weird.
