we did the side vents today, I know some of you think they're too big but I made them bigger!..lol....anyway I opened up the vents so they'ed be functional(for the brakes) unstead of just for looks, and we also took off 3-4 inches of the fender lip so it wouldn't hit my back tire. here's a few pics

you better hope you never crash that thing. id hate to see what a simple "fender bender" would do to those over-panels.

So how flush are those wheels going to sit? I wan't to see only a credit card sized gap between sidewall and overfender. That would be ****ing hot.

Work looks really good. Project is coming along well.

That's bonkers.

Whatever anyone may say about your kit or project, I think it's cool as hell. That's a LOT of work you're putting into that car and it's not derivative at all. I can't wait to see how it all turns out.

Are you going to leave the vents completely open? Don't put that chicken-wire crap in there, but I'm sure you already know better.

Werd. I am sure that he will be leaving it open. It will look so ****ing cool because the tire will be showing through. Sky-this calls for some better rubber than the es100s that I know you have mounted right now. Es100s suck.

Advan A048.

Do it.

yeah it should be but if I have to, I'll use a spacer for the back(front will be fine)

not sure yet but I do know I'm not using chicken wire!..lol..I though about putting some sort of mesh back by the wheel and making it black so it doesn't stand out.

Thanks guys!

Don't put wheel spacers... it will look all funny and stuff... what you need are some 24inch wide wheels.

Just go away. You hate on his car, then want to try and give advice. He won't need much of a spacer anyways.

^ No it looks like quality body work and I comend him for that... I personally like the 240 the way it is but... Anyway what I ment to say was I hope he goes for some wider wheels because if you fun stock 6.5inch wheels with a spacer it will look stupid..

You aren't very observant. He has some bigass 18 inch wheels that have mega low offsets, and tons of lip.

here's the body kit with the same rims and no spacers(red car) and some of the custom work he's doing, so I'll won't need much of a spacer. and for the record, my backs are 18x11's

ROFL. That red hatch looks like an evil cartoon character. That hood is absolutely hideous. I dont know who did it, but nice photochop on those popups and "air vents" in the front bumper.

I think it is a masa hood. It actually looks good. That is just a really bad photochop.

Dude I really don't know what to say other than I hope it looks great when you're done. I definately don't care for the kit you are using but I'll wait until you are done before I say I like it or not on your car. I think as long as you follow through with your project and not cut any corners you will definatley have one of the most unique 240's on here. Keep us updated!

yeah I did a bad job on the hood, it's the MASA hood, I photochop the front bumper, mirriors, lights, and side vents.
