I partially agree that there may not be much engineering to the vents, but a hole in the body line is going to create a low pressure zone no matter how you look at it, so there will be airflow... significant i might add. Not many ppl know much about the engineering behind turbo'ing their cars (not to the max potential), but they get the gist of it and attain significant gains. Some sort of screen will keep rocks out of the way...chmercer wrote:LOL at functional vents. yeah a huge hole in the side of the car with no direction is a super vent job. i guess if the goal is to get rocks in the suspension then its pretty functional.
true... I don't foresee it being more than having your windows 1/4 open on the freeway.chmercer wrote:its gonna get air in there all right but at the cost of severe drag
I've thought about the drag and I'm using the Ab-Flug 300zx cf rear diffuser, we took out the gas tank to make room for it(and room for duel exhaust) so I do have a escape rout for the air...lol..we will be directing the air through there. now I'm not an engineer but I play one on TVchmercer wrote:its gonna get air in there all right but at the cost of severe drag
your mom really likes it!no just kidding, it's cool if you don't like it, it's not for everyone.BUT IT WON'T BE WHITE TRASH!SxThirteen wrote:sorry to hate but looks like white trash ferrari.
I was going to save this for a suprise but I'm not using the top peice of the SUPER MADE light, I'm going to find a company to make me a plastic peice to cover the whole top(kinda like the Grim lights but a whole lot cheaper!!)but thats the plan for now, it might changemkory wrote:
How about a photoshop of making the hood and pop-up headlight covers one piece, with the fixed headlights shining through all the time. Like you did, but instead of the covers that's actually part of your hood.
I agree. More separation of the tailight panels is good. Shaving it all is bad.nismofly wrote:i honestly really dont like that one piece tail thing with the individual lights
at least get something like what the oneline car has
well I didn't get the idea from the ferrari, there's tons of car and even body kits(front bumper) that have the same three vents like I want that aren't ferraris, like this one(not the same but similar)Chingon wrote:I really wan't gonna comment on the modena front bumper, but the rear is just taking it too far imo. Of course it's your car, but why not to take it away from the pinifarina idea?
I wasn't shaving anything, the kit comes with a one peice with lights, I don't like the lights the kit came with so thats why I'm putting in the R33s(just the light, not the whole peice), and I think since I have a R33 motor and its a nissan, that sorta gives me the right to use them.(i know how people feel about using tails that aren't for that car)naed240sx wrote:

yeah ebaying those for sure! and thankschmercer wrote:thoes r33s will look better than the lights that came with it. you should try to sell the extra lights. they are saleen s7 taillights, $$$. props for not sweating it when people hate on your car.
yeah I'm putting in the R33 lights in where the other lights were(alittle bigger then the saleens) by the way Lamborghini used them too on some of their carsnismofly wrote:i think thats how it was on the shelf kit but hes changing it is what hes saying
hmm, i guess i'm unclear as to how your front bumper will look like then. I just went from your 1st photshop and the pic of the masa-hooded s15.Sky240PWR wrote:well I didn't get the idea from the ferrari, there's tons of car and even body kits(front bumper) that have the same three vents like I want that aren't ferraris, like this one(not the same but similar)
I completely agree. 'nuff said.PantherRacer wrote:you'd better be a fast runner cuz I'm sure the owner would be FORCED to kick in your head. have a nice life
