i actually think it looks better with the stock roof line, the chop on that car is too much and makes the car look funny. if you still have your heart set on the chop, please just take like 2 inches off of it anymore and it will ruin the lines of the car. just my 2 cents. great car by the way

I say chopp it. It will flow much better with the rest of the body.

With the quality of work I've seen so far, I bet the chopp would turn out flawless.

ok so i've also have been throwing around another idea that i thought for sure would get me flamed!.....it's the BN sports inverted rear hatch

now i think with the right car, this can work......like this, i love it!(sorry that i used someone elses car)

now for another chop of the roof and that trunk, I even did the car in the background my pic looks like poop cause i drew it in but you get the idea

original picphotoshop pic

what do you guys think about it.....i know it's up to me, but like to hear opinions........it's also functional cause it saves like 40 pounds!

it might look good on your car. if its just the hatch, you can always go back to the stocker if its not what you like.

I think the inverted hatch would look good from the rear, but wouldn't flow with the overall car. I think it would throw off the smooth rounded edges.

As said before, if you do try it out you can always sell it if you don't like it.

I disagree, although when I saw pictures of a Z with it; I didn't like it AT ALL until I saw the ish in person, and then I loved it.

I think choppin the top would be spectacular; It would seriously change the lines of the car, and I think it would fit the car a lot better with what you have done.

just my .02

yeah i knew that.....lol...i also love that car.......is this the only one anyone has ever seen....or is there another hiding somewhere?i'm gonna do both, if i don't like the invert trunk with the chop, i can always take out and sell, so no big deal there.

You mean Ikeya Formula one? It's a real one. I think that car was in Tokyo Auto Salon back in the day.

awesome work. it make me want to put on my body kit..

i think you should chop it. it would defiantly be more unique. since our cars have seen pretty much every mod and you only found one other car with a chop, i say do it. especially when your kit is so unique. your car won't just be another 240 with a custom body kit.

good work. this is definatly the best way to put on a body kit, and i llove the fact you're changing it the way you want it.

i saw this a while ago then could never find it again. i have wanted this thing forever but can find no info on if it was mass produced or even any order info. its not listed on BN Sports site. if anyone has any info on this one, please let me know, it would be much appreciated.

Oh and also Sky240PWR, i do pixelcars (see sig) and you have inspired me to do a version of yours to replace the one in your sig.

.....i would to see that...mine was pretty ghetto!..lol

anyways, he did some more work with the front bumper this weekend, so i thought i'd share, besides the chop top and bn sports inverted hatch, most of the work is gonna be body work, going back over the car to make sure it's smooth and what not, so it might get alittle boring.

Like i said before, i told him i didn't want my bumpers glassed on, i want to be able to remove them if i choose so, so he got the front to fit alittle better, but it still needs alot of work, not to mention making the vents and stuff.

here we have the begining stages of glassing the front bumper back together.......not so pretty(not yet anyway)

like i said, not very pretty but it's starting to take shape..........by the way, don't know if i've shared this or not but he only works on my car every other weekend, so it's gonna be a slow process ....sucks but it's better then nothing!
