At first I was skeptical.

Then I was intrigued.

Now I'm sitting here waiting to see which was the proper feeling.

The car in its current form sort of reminds me of a 944.

yeah...a years a pretty long time to just stop working on a car your being paid for....In fact Im pretty sure their are laws prohibiting it (at least in cali, don't remember specifics but something about giving you a reasonable time line for work being done)

seriously, your bodyman sucks so damn bad.

i'd take it to a real shop and get it done, i don't care how "old school" he is. i'd rather have a great car in a few months than an amazing car in a few years.

let me start off by saying I'm your average guy, moved out at 17, got no help from parents, I work at two restraunts and my girl has 3 jobs to get by and do what we're doing. If my body man got my car done in a month or two, there's no way i would have all the money to pay him. I knew he was going to have to stop working on my car at some point and finish the other car before i even took him the car, so I was fine with it, I know it's been almost a year since he's stop working on it but if you think about it, that gave me alot more time to come up with more money, so in a way, it's a good thing. so everyone quit dissing on my body man, he's a nice guy!

Do your own thing at your own pace. Besides, it's your car, your money and your art.

Yeah, do it at you pace. My wife is always on my butt because I have taken almost 3 years to get to where I am at on my car. Which is a few weeks from completion if I get busy on it. But to me it's a hobby, not a job, and I will work on it when I have time, the weather is not too hot or too cold, and am in the mood.

Honestly, i knew from the beginning this wasnt going to be done in a day. Good work takes patience and time. Thats why when doing paint work, the longer you take prepping it, the better the car will turn out.

Not even meant as a personal attack, but this statement is worthless.would be true of the time taken is on the work being done...**** I could take 3 years to actually get around to taking my car to macco that don't mean it would be good.

Huge difference between someone taking their time in their work, and taking time off the work all together.

Hell yeah, that Z looks awesome! Way better than the one you posted in the Broadfield cookout thread.. I love the gold wheels.

Are you bringing it to Toby's cookout this Sunday?

yeah, i'm bringing it.........i wasn't gona cause the body shop messed it up, they did a poor job on the fitment of the kit, but i called my body man(for 240sx) and begged him to fix it, he only had fri to work on it, there was a 2 inch gap inbetween the hood and front bumper, a inch gap between the headlights and bumper, it took some fab work and reworking the hindges but he got the hood and bumper to fit better, this fri he's putting the flush hood pins in. I wanted my new rims by this week but i don't think he can get them to me by fri so these will have to do for now, some of the paint is chipping off, so....

What that front end needs is a big *** intercooler, covered by a grill from the Aston Martin DB9...

I think that would look even more sick than your car already is!

From the side, the Z looks allright. But from the front.. WTF?

Seriously, wtf is up with that bumper ?

I kind of like the little duct, but that gaping mouth... it looks like a whale trying to swallow a bunch of fish or something..
