Not too keen on the Z. It just looks too much like an Aston Matin nosecone slapped on the front.

Props for being original though!

I actually really like the Aston front bumper, but the wheels need some more aggressive offset if your trying to go VIP. It's prolly too sporty for VIP also, but the car looks sick and I really like the red wheels!

No I can't tell. How the **** is that VIP? Nothing, absolutely nothing about your Z is VIP. VIP only applies to 4 door luxury sedans like the GS, LS, Q, M, etc. VIPstyle goes for anything that has VIP influence but your car has none whatsoever. And that Aston Martin front end just adds to the fail. Stock Zs look better than that but whatever.

...hi.....maybe you remember me..lol...well it's been awhile but my body man is ready and i couldn't be more happy! onece again like i said before, sorry to keep you hanging......

well, he said it would be cheaper and faster for me to glass the front and rear bumpers on to the car but i wasn't hearing it!..he'll do what ever i want just as long as i know "time is money"!..lol...and i want that show quality fit finish so here, we go... but will take longer

here's some pics of his process.......

don't mind the duck tape, i was just getting an idea how i wanted the front bumper to look

taking measurments

no super glue here!

carving the turkey!

can you say busted lip!

think he needs 1000 stiches

ok, i took the pic above, and worked with it, so hold back the flames, just wanting to get an idea(like the duck tape)

alittle better fit but have lots to still do so stay tuned!

goddamn son you must be layin' the pipe pretty good.

i remember seeing the jacquemond(sp?) kit in the back pages of magazines years ago... really never thought i'd see anyone attempt it.

just read through the whole thread; originally i thought the front bumper ideas were a little too porsche-inspired, but now it looks like you're using the pop-ups as a styling cue for them which (IMO) integrates it into the car very well. good call.

what are you planning on doing for the headlights, btw?

kudos to you for having half a decade's worth of patience to see this through.

perfect design flow, good design choice. The original design is ugly. If only you could steal the audi r8 vent things lol... know what i mean.

essentially some softened sharp lines like that are whats needed to make it flow... the original design was all over the place like a caricature...

The one thing I hate on the whole kit to be quite honest is the door and rear vent thing... just doesn't work... if THAT could be changed... it would kick ***...

And the rear end... something needs to be done too, cant just have the circular lights...

The front is really shaping up good

Also if you're already doing this, please make sure your shop makes all the lines perfectly i mean perfectly aligned, cause right now its all over the place and edges are somewhere dull somewhere pointy just lame. Don't make it look like the finished jacqumond kits cause they look ugly. Dont mould it into one piece... but do some photoshopping to see it in place but i wouldnt recommend.

The rear end will need work too man... but lets concentrate on the front now... make sure the edges are nice and tight and sharp, not bubbly bulgy, soft, all over the place, unaligned. Perfection where this will either fail like the original jacqmonds in my mind or be the most amazing project ever if done right...

Chamfer the center hole some, maybe indent inwards the top vertices too.. or maybe just chamfer it... im at work... i dont have a tablet here lol.. otherwise id reinstall photoshop and draw up some stuff hehe (computer animation is my major but im doing IT now :P married life makes me not want to work 48hours straight on projects so IT it is hehe)

So..........when i first started all this i wanted to chop the top......but then i started thinking it was going to be too much money...but hell, this car will already have close 100k in it when done, whats another 3-4k right?..lol

most of you have seen the hatch that has been chopped( to my knowledge, only one) I know theres the s15 drift car thats chopped....if you've seen another....PLEASE...post pics.

what do you guys think, I think it would set my project off, maybe even help me get more coverage when done.................i wouldn't be cutting the windshield or back window, rather just making the roof smaller(getting rid of space behind sunroof) and laying down both windows more at a angle, that way they're still easy to replace if needed.....i've got the quarter window taken care of, the only windows i would have to cut are the ones in the doors

i will photoshop a few pics, to get a better idea, i'll post them when done.
